???Who was questioning Israel? The EU leader was immediately giving support to the Israel actions. No one will challenge Israel from the West
You asked who was questioning Israel and I gave you the answer - this was what chiefdave was talking about, try to keep up.Lovely words. Have they imposed sanctions? Refused arms sales? Declared them a pariah state? I mean seriously you aren't that stupid.

Interestingly as the UK, France and Canada are signatories to the ICC, they are required to arrest Netanyahu if he lands in their territory.Oh I am keeping up. I mean you were the guy who thought sanctions would stop Putin. The reality is no other country would have been allowed the free reign to do what they want and not have any direct action imposed against them.
I mean our Foreign secretary talks VERY tough on Gaza. Then again he said the President of the US was a Nazi. Then the president fed him an extra portion of chicken and that was enough to be his best buddy.
No one will oppose Israel. They will offer cheap soundbites to pretend they care but actions will be none.

They do indeed, and both should be deeply ashamed of themselves. Starmer as a former human rights lawyer especially.I am sure they would obey that instructions. Well Canada might I guess. France and the UK still supply arms don't they?
And the West fawn all over him
Mark Rutte's (NATO Sec Gen) twitter feed is sickening. And NATO love him
Because that's the only language he understands. Quite clearly in private everyone sensible thinks he's a fucking clown.
Getting Starmer to bend to his will is hardly anything to write home about.Lol. Rutte is thanking him again today. The rest of the West are spooked and now playing to his tune on defence. Starmer is even buying planes of him isn't he?

Well yes because NATO needs the US on side so all you have to do is tell Donald how wonderful he is, how brave and strong he is. It's really not difficult, even for you.
No he needs the rest of the West to get to the target of 5% spending.
He knows the threat of Trump walking away will force peoples arms. Look at Starmer already agreeing to buying off Trump and to increase spend. NATO at last has a US leader that is forcing the rest of the West to run around like rabbits in headlights.
The sight of Starmer grovelling around his feet picking his papers up must have made you vomit surely?
Of course we should increase spend, regardless of Trump. If anything we should increase spend because of Trump - not because he tells us to, but because he makes the world a more unstable place.
Also 'buying off Trump' - the money doesn't go to the US government.
Quite! I thought the target (which Parliament have just agreed to) was 2% of GDP.Why should we increase defence spending? When was that ever discussed before?
Surely there are bigger priorities which is why it seems we now have 165 MPs threatening to tell Starmer to fuck off next week at the vote.
It is true that the number of rebels has gone up, not true that it’s being seen as a confidence vote. Why should we increase defence spending? When was that ever discussed before?

I'd say most of the west see a petulant manchild with a lot of power and military capabilities but few braincells and a tendency to throw a tantrum. And the West fawn all over him

You might say the west fawn over him, I'd say they're more like a set of exasperated parents desperately trying to keep a particularly stroppy toddler quiet.
I wonder if Trump has the intelligence to see it for what it is.I'd say most of the west see a petulant manchild with a lot of power and military capabilities but few braincells and a tendency to throw a tantrum.

I doubt it, and even if he did his ego wouldn't let him believe it.I wonder if Trump has the intelligence to see it for what it is.
Or we're changing our defence budgets because his actions are making the world much more unstable and we doubt whether we can rely on supposed partners if it all goes to shit.So they are changing their defence budgets massively just to entertain him? He literally owns these people and no one will stand up to him.

Could be EU countries and us accepting that we can't depend on the US to carry the share they have before with defence, rather than them doing Trump's bidding. Planning for him being a clown isn't the same as towing his line. Might be a response to historic complacency on NATO countries' part rather than ineptitude of current governments.
Another step towards the US relinquishing its role as the world’s main superpower.Could be EU countries and us accepting that we can't depend on the US to carry the share they have before with defence, rather than them doing Trump's bidding. Exactly, it's a dangerous world at the moment and when you can't trust that the superpower who hjad you back before will even defend you then you have to start taking things into your own hands.Could be EU countries and us accepting that we can't depend on the US to carry the share they have before with defence, rather than them doing Trump's bidding. Bit difficult to be the leader of the free world when you're doing everything in your power to make the country you actually are in charge of as un-free as possible.I meant to say this at the time, but in the UN Security Council meeting last Friday, the Israeli delegate, Danny Danon - who many regard as a Zionist war criminal - kept referring to Trump as "the leader of the free world". I don't think they should be allowed to speak of one person (or nation) in those terms at the UN. *I* didn't elect him, nor did a large part of "the free world".
