Obama was known as the 'deporter in chief' and he achieved that moniker without engaging in this sort of activity. Go through the courts, get a warrant signed by a judge and do it by the book. Allow the people you detain access to a lawyer and the right to defend themselves in court.

Not true actually. In 2016 I saw a lot of his appeal and may even have voted for him myself if I were in the US. He even mentioned single payer healthcare during that first election campaign. His first term was pretty poor, but the vaccine rollout 'Operation Warp Speed' was really well done. Then he lost the 2020 election and totally lost the plot in his attempts to get the result overturned. From that point on I've regarded him as a criminal who should have been put on trial for his election interference.I haven't really changed my opinion of him at all.
