You are correct. The 23,000 pages of documents released by the House Oversight Committee are extensive, and while the Trump and Prince Andrew emails received the most media attention, the release also provided significant new details about Epstein's network after his 2008 conviction.
Here are more detailed, non-partisan examples focusing on his communications with academics, political figures, and other associates:
4. Exchanges with Academics and Intellectuals
Epstein used his wealth to establish contact with prominent academics and intellectuals, even after his sex offender status was public.
• Noam Chomsky: Emails show an ongoing, friendly correspondence. In one exchange (August 2015), Epstein offers to let Chomsky use his residences: "you are of course welcome to use apt in new york with your new leisure time, or visit new Mexico again." They also discussed complex topics like behavioral science models and Big Data.
• Larry Summers (Former Treasury Secretary & Harvard President): The emails reveal a continued relationship after 2008.
• In a December 2018 email, Epstein shared political gossip, writing to Summers that "trump – borderline insane. dersh, a few feet further from the border but not by much." (referencing attorney Alan Dershowitz).
• In a 2019 exchange, Summers discussed an interaction with a woman, and Epstein offered dating advice, writing that Summers "reacted well.. annoyed shows caring. , no whining showed strentgh."
5. Details on High-Profile Staff/Associates
The documents shed light on the activities and communications of individuals in Epstein's orbit.
• Prince Andrew Strategy: Emails show a chain of communications in 2011 between Epstein, Prince Andrew, and Ghislaine Maxwell discussing how to counter a Mail on Sunday story regarding Virginia Giuffre's allegations against the Prince.
• In one email, Andrew asks Maxwell: "Hey there! What's all this? I don't know anything about this! You must SAY so please. This has NOTHING to do with me."
• Media Outreach: Epstein and his associates aggressively tried to shape the media narrative. Emails show Epstein corresponding with journalists to refute claims, including statements like "The only person she didn't have sex with was Elvis" in reference to an accuser.
• Staff Tracking Political Figures: Staff correspondence indicates Epstein received updates on the travel of high-profile political figures, including one memo informing him: "President trump is going to be at our neighbors on thurs, so dont be surprised if secret service check in."
6. Mention of Other Names in Depositions
While not all names in the 23,000 pages are directly tied to wrongdoing, the documents (including depositions from accusers) mention other figures in different contexts:
• Michael Jackson & David Copperfield: Accuser Johanna Sjoberg testified that she met the late pop star Michael Jackson at Epstein's Palm Beach mansion and met magician David Copperfield at one of Epstein's homes, where he performed magic tricks. No accusations of wrongdoing were made against either of them.
• Celebrity Name-Dropping: Sjoberg also noted that Epstein frequently "name-dropped" celebrities like Leonardo DiCaprio, Cate Blanchett, and Bruce Willis during massages, claiming they had just been on the phone. Sjoberg testified she never met these individuals.
• Bill Clinton: While former President Bill Clinton has maintained he never visited Epstein's island, he is mentioned multiple times, including an allegation (which an editor has denied) that he tried to kill a Vanity Fair profile on Epstein.
The full 23,000 pages provide granular details on Epstein's extensive use of his network to maintain influence, manage his public image, and connect with people across numerous influential sectors long after his 2008 conviction.
Would you like me to look into the specifics of Epstein's communications with any of the other figures mentioned?

at's a fair request. The vast number of documents allows for a more detailed look into Epstein's continued influence and network across multiple sectors, well after his 2008 conviction.
Here is a breakdown of the communications with some of the most prominent individuals mentioned, based on the newly released materials:
Further Examples of Key Communications
1. The Late Stephen Hawking (Academic)
The famous theoretical physicist, Stephen Hawking, attended an academic conference in the Virgin Islands funded by Epstein in 2006. The newly released documents contain an indirect, but striking, reference to him:
• Email Content: A 2015 email from Epstein to Ghislaine Maxwell offered a monetary reward to anyone—including the family or acquaintances of victim Virginia Giuffre—who could help disprove an allegation that Hawking had participated in an "underage orgy" in the Virgin Islands.
• Context: The email itself does not confirm the allegation, but rather shows Epstein's efforts to actively discredit it and Giuffre. The documents include a request for Giuffre to turn over all photos or videos of her with a number of individuals, including Hawking. Hawking died in 2018 and has never been accused of a crime related to Epstein.
2. Bill Clinton (Former U.S. President)
While no direct email correspondence between Epstein and Bill Clinton was released, the former President is frequently mentioned, often in the context of Epstein's media strategy and travel.
• Epstein's Defense: Epstein and his associates worked to use Clinton's association as a counter-narrative, often trying to deflect attention from himself by emphasizing Clinton's previous travel on Epstein's private jet.
• Clinton's Denial: Epstein did dispute one key allegation against Clinton, with a statement attributed to Epstein denying that Clinton was "ever on the island" (Epstein's private island, Little St. James).
• Associates' Mentions: In one email, an associate of Epstein mentioned meeting "your friend" Bill Clinton at a conference alongside French President Nicholas Sarkozy and Prince Andrew.
3. Alan Dershowitz (Legal Counsel & Academic)
Alan Dershowitz, a professor emeritus at Harvard Law School, was part of the legal team that negotiated Epstein's 2007 non-prosecution agreement. The documents show Epstein was highly critical of his own lawyer in private.
• Private Ridicule: In a December 2018 email to former Harvard President Larry Summers, Epstein disparaged Dershowitz's mental state and media presence: "trump – borderline insane. dersh, a few feet further from the border but not by much."
• Continued Relationship: Despite the private insults, Dershowitz continued to serve as Epstein's legal counsel at the time. Earlier emails (pre-2008) show Dershowitz vowing to defend Epstein as a "good person" and a "close friend."
4. Other Academics and Influencers
The sheer volume of emails with academics shows Epstein's successful attempt to retain a facade of legitimacy by engaging with the intellectual elite:
• Noam Chomsky: Emails from 2015 show a friendly exchange where Epstein offers the famed linguist the use of his New York apartment or New Mexico ranch for a visit, and they discuss complex academic and political topics.
• Laurence Krauss: The theoretical physicist also appeared to maintain correspondence, with emails discussing various scientific gatherings and projects.
• Deepak Chopra: Appointment calendars show numerous scheduled meetings with the self-help guru and integrative medicine advocate in the years leading up to Epstein's 2019 arrest.
The consistency of these communications—often for years after Epstein pleaded guilty—is the central, non-partisan takeaway: his status as a sex offender did not lead to a complete severing of ties with the wealthy and powerful.
Is there a particular person or category of communications you would like me to investigate further?

Oh but the purple haired kidless, jobless, friendless, gormless, loner looser types on here think they are the clever ones.

How does this tosser even walk on this earth? Fascist.

Stupid of the BBC to let this happen as it’s helping Trump along his way.

He’s tightening his grip. What are the chances of him taking his Coup to the next stage?

And it’ll mostly be funded by the British taxpayers.

I’d be surprised if didn’t attempt to run for a third term. Fortunately I think both his mental and physical health will get the better of him though.

Shes definitely done an about turn. Despite her being on a similar level to him as a human being she at least has some conviction to stand up to him on this.

Well no, she’s clearly eyeing up a presidential run and has suddenly been doing media events to come across as a ‘moderate’. The problem is she’s said and done so many ridiculous things, even by American standards, that nobody’s buying it and everyone sees it.

For the record, I don’t think he will. But given the Dems were effectively wheeling out a rotting corpse to partake in presidential debates last time I don’t think mental or physical health is a barrier as such.

And it's not in any way difficult to find a well researched article that makes exactly the opposite case.

The Myth of the BBC · Learning on Screen

The Panorama edit was obviously wrong, and it's been apologised for and publicly corrected.

Back to the facts then. Is anyone here going to pretend that Trump didn't spend vast amounts of time and effort trying to overthrow the results of a free and fair election? If so, can they back their frothing conspiracy bollocks up with actual facts?

No? Thought not.

The strange thing is when Kuensberg interviewed Kamala Harris regarding the book she’s written she really was a disaster. She couldn’t stand any scrutiny or questions. The 3 guests who commented on it after - who were from varying political opinions - agreed it was dreadful

See, I don’t think Trump can stand any scrutiny or questions either. But rather than try and filibuster he just goes on the attack. And in the world nowadays people like that.

Look I get it, ho ho ho, actually he can’t resign because technically he already did etc etc

The point I was making is that while hidden edits of quotes at Panorama and Newsnight has you hopping up and down about a credibility crisis, examples of other journalists doing the same thing (if not making quotes up entirely) doesn’t seem to bother you at all?
