You've changed your tune haven't you. But then you do that when it suits whatever side you want to take.

Take what side?

Your obsession with resorting to sexual imagery around posters is really fucking weird. And maybe quite telling.

It was clearly metaphorical

Sure there will be plenty of outrage if/when full details ever come out but there’s stuff that’s happening in our country right now and stuff that happened abroad 20-30 years ago. We can maybe do something about one and fuck all about the other. Which one should we be more upset over ?
We should be doing what we can now
It’s so easy to do nothing where we can and say we are powerless to change anything in the past or in the future

I don’t think it’s surprising that a sex trafficking scandal co-ordinated by a British socialite and with connections to a senior British royal and the US president would draw widespread attention in this country.

If we are going to be picky Maxwell is technically French - neither parent also were born here

Im not saying it’s not but I would expect 99% of people to be more upset/outraged about what’s going on here.
Ghislaine Maxwell is a British citizen and the scandal also involves many from the upper echelons of our country up to and including senior members of the royal family. Some of the crimes will also have taken place on our soil.

You have some people getting very worked up about Peter Mandelson's involvement with Epstein when he's a very low rung on the food chain as far as the whole scandal is concerned. To be clear, he should face punishment for whatever he has done, but the guiltiest client of them all is currently sat in the White House and exploiting his position to escape justice and allow others off the hook too.

Yet he draws no condemnation at all from people active on both threads. Double standards.

Lots of whatabouterism
Be so great if we could share what we’ve actually done to make a difference rather than pointing the finger of blame

If I’m not part of the solution I’m part of the problem

Just to be clear, if he’s found to have done anything with minors then it’s disgusting and I hope he feels the full force of the law (unlikely be we can but hope). But I can see why most people in this country would be far more concerned about what’s happening here and now.

If they were they'd recognise the majority of grooming cases in this country are done by white people, but that escapes any mention. Just like the anti-Semitism comments recently have highlighted, the chance to smear Muslims is the commonality.

That's really my point.

Yep and you call it all out and you’re accused of whataboutery or false equivalence so you’re left with well it’s all shit so what can you do
Focus on you and yours and being kind I think

We're told 'why should we care, it's happening in the US not here'. So what, we're all human are we not?

The man once called a 'bike nonce'.

Have you seen some of the videos of him on his bike riding without regard to other road users that he posts.

He behaves like he believes he is entitled to special treatment and other people matter less.
Strange obsession with a bland TV presenter who rides a bicycle. Surely you have bigger issues to focus on?

Well all of a sudden now you don't care about the US and what happens there.

However when people suggested we should take a different stance to the US on things like Ukraine and Israel, then you were very much interested in what the Americans were doing.

No I wasn’t I just said the same. It doesn’t impact us so don’t get involved .
