A lot of what this chap is coming out with re. Trump's shooter is factually incorrect.

Crooks planned the shooting well in advance, yet he makes out like he just rocked up on a whim and was wandering about aimlessly.

He visited the fairgrounds where the rally was held and flew a drone over the site on the day of the attack, he researched past assassinations and specifically looked for the location of where Trump's speaking position would be.

The two shootings are also incomparable. The level of security at the campus would've been minor compared to Trump's rally in Pennsylvania (even though that was a bit lackluster) therefore it obviously would be much easier for the shooter to evade detection, especially with the amount of crowd hysteria.

I don't believe it was a hit and there's nothing to suggest really that it was.

It was more than likely a self-taught internet shooter who had a grievance with Kirk's views.

On a side note when researching how far trained snipers can kill from I discovered that a sniper from Ukraine killed not 1 but 2 Russian soldiers with 1 shout from about 2.5 miles away just last month.

That is pretty mental to think about.

A) For a former FBI Agent this chap has very loose knowledge of Trump's shooting which discredits him almost immediately as he bases half his argument on it.

B) A quick Google search shows he runs a risk management firm so likely putting his face out there for some self promoting.

Republicans/conservatives are quick to brand ‘Marxist’ and ‘communist’ around far too liberally and it’s toxic in its own right. There were sinister undertones to how people spoke about Obama in office.

In the West, the word ‘Nazi’ and ‘fascist’ carries a lot more baggage than ‘communist’. Don’t believe me? I challenge someone to come forward and say they’d rather the stigma of being publicly called a ‘commie’ than being a labeled a ‘Nazi’. As a society, we haven’t really come to terms with horrors perpetuated by 20th century communism as we have with fascism. If you admire Hitler or Mussolini, you’re genuinely unhinged but you will get people trotting out the line ‘it’s not real socialism/communism’ when discussing the USSR.
