Is it best to get a train to Euston or Watford and head for Wembley Central from there?

I always (twice) get off at Watford, and then get the Overground to Wembley Central. It's so easy, you don't even have to leave the station at Watford, just scan your contactless card at the end of the platform

Were all assuming the trains are running that day, and not on strike

Buy a ticket to Euston, get off at Watford and use same ticket to Wembley Central.
Catch any north bound train back to Watford, get off and wait for cov train.
Used to do it for England night games.

Piece of piss. M6, M1 and one A road to the stadium. From Solihull it’s 2 hours without major traffic. You don’t get concerned with dreaded central London traffic/congestion charges etc. it’s all miles north of that. We will allow four hours for a few service stops and any traffic.

Via Just Park I’ve booked someone’s driveway near the ground 10:00 - 20:00 for £20.

Just saw Premiership rugby final is same day, and Sale are playing. I wonder if they'll have a lot of fans coming down on the trains - using the west coast line.

Not sure if my minds playing tricks but pretty sure City V Exeter final they had some directish trains so you didn’t have to go into and out of london. Might be wrong though. Anyone recall ?

The last two trips I took the train but I’ve booked coach travel through the club. Much easier logistically and knowing the coach is waiting to take you back then piss about with stations and stops. And possibly strikes as well.

Certainly from Birmingham Snow Hill there was, directly to and from Wembley station.

Just wondering if they’d do something like it again

I checked earlier and it’s over £70 for a return, Coventry to Wembley via Watford is £30.

Got that one for Checkatrade final and it was £12 return but obviously booked a couple of months in advance. Not sure how much it was for the league two playoff final?

I’ve got my ticket but I’m annoyed we’re only getting 36k tickets. It annoys me we don’t have half the stadium. I know it’s probably nothing new but still.

I'm also annoyed it's a 4.45pm kickoff when there is no other football that day.

Big Green Coach company £30 return, pickup outside transport museum at 12pm so plenty of time for early start at Wetherspoons.

Euston. Coming back you get on before the crowds at Watford and you’ll get a seat. Getting on at Watford it’s a scramble for seats.

Fanzone Coventry -

The Wealdstone FC Fan Zone, ideally located for supporters looking for parking, a drink and burger ahead of a game at Wembley, family friendly

They did from Warwick Parkway, but I believe there's a problem somewhere on the line so no direct trains to Wembley this time.

you're welcome. It was recommended to me by a Notts County fan. Might get down there early, have a beer & burger, before making our way to the tube, Wembley is just a few stops down, but too far to walk.
