People are getting confused. Robins did one interview to CWR where he made it sound like there was possibly going to be an incoming. Then did a seperate one to Andy Turner where it was pretty much no chance of a deal

He's never given much away in terms of transfers and I'm sure we have signed players in the past after Robins has said we wouldn't. It's just about who becomes available and when.

There really is some unwarranted mania around what we need from this window. The squad we currently have has us sitting in the play offs on a great run of form. That’s with no one added. Not one. Not a winger, just inside a winger, just outside a CF or a CM who can play wing. We’ve bought in Torp, a £2m prospect. To be frank, talk that we “need” this and that is nonsense.

Yeah we could do with a some cover on the wings but we’re 12 unbeaten and scored 2+ in 7 consecutive games. Thats with Haji injured and Simms and Godden not particularly contributing. If we don’t sign anyone it’s far from a disaster.

Think it’s more that not having squad depth is a vulnerability that’s cost us a number of times.

Years of decline under SISU took us away from discussing the game etc.

If Saka + Wright get injured simultaneously it is a disaster
