It would be a disaster if we didnt get a winger in. Injuries and fatigue happen, especially when you're fighting on 2 fronts like we are at the moment

We have zero depth in that position

That said, if we don't bring one in I'd still rather go with square pegs in round holes than revert to fucking wing backs.

Not a disaster maybe, but an injury to either Saka or Wright means we are struggling. Would probably have to go back to 3-5-2 which looked awful the other day. Also given we should have at least 3 more FA cup games to play, we will need to be able to rest Saka and Wright

I think we would get by, although obviously we would hope to do better.

Palmer can cover for Wright as well as covering Calum O'Hare. MVE looks good going forwards, so at a pinch he could cover for Sakamoto with Latibeaudiere filling in at right back.

It's not ideal but I don't think it would be a disaster by any means.

Yeah agreed its not a disaster. But i dont see us getting in the play offs without signing at least another forward player

Problem is Palmer is the only peg and he’s hardly a prime specimen of fitness.

There’s been hardly any deals being done

I’d take one winger to be honest but we need a forward too

We’d have to go back to 3-4-1-2 which would be bad. I think that system is dead now.

Yeah I’d take a winger who could play either side ideally

Andrews seems to be a good prospect coming through, always thought he was a striker but seems to play as a 6 for the u21s? Anyone know what his natural position is

Right sided forward/right wing seems to be where he plays most

I'd include Stretton in that group as well.

Apparently at the moment about £34 million has been spent in this January window by premier clubs at the moment compared to £700million last season, perhaps suggests the money isn’t about, there will be a knock on affect down the leagues.
By contrast if we count the percentage we could get from a Gyorkeres sale we have nearly £34million in our transfer war chest.
How times have changed for little ccfc.

I would of thought we will get a loan signing over the line but if not we go with what we have until we get more wriggle room in the summer

I can't see anyone coming in unless , Kelly/ Mcfadz/Tavares or Moore leave or go on loan.

Those 4 are nowhere near the first team as the squad stands.

Na not saying there wont be but we've been 'close' to a winger for 2 weeks now thought it would have been done

Im starting to think GIMOC king of bullshit might actually have a point

I havent heard anything per se, just maybe this time he isnt talking bollocks if we cant get Fadz and Kelly out

Considering what happened to GIMOC last time he showed up on here I wouldn't pay too much attention.

Just for a few more months though, I'd be surprised if it made too much difference.
