Apparently Villa are supposed to be letting Emile Heskey go on a Free in the summer, whether we are still in the championship or League 1. Would he be a good signing? Surely he could bring experience to the team, and he's a target man, right? Another player is Aleksander Hleb, Currently contracted to Barcelona but out on loan. Barcelona are rumoured to be letting him go for a Free in the summer aswell. 2 Potential experienced players.. Should be worth looking at, surely?

Even with retained Championship status and new ownership, Hleb would seem pie in the sky. I admire your optimism, but set your sights lower as it'll be the hope that kills you.

As much as I think these suggested signings are ludicrous I'm not sure why it's been moved to Off Topic. The suggestions were for Coventry.
