Kane hasn’t fitted in with squad , they see Eccles as a better prospect hopefully he will be fit , might delay Kane going but wouldn’t expect him to be in squads

Anjorin wouldn't be a permanent deal. Kasey Palmer or Izzy Brown look like the front runners based on what sbb has said. Palmer reportedly been on £20k a week and Brown had a few injuries.

Brown has been criticised/ostracised by Ryan Lowe since he took over at PNE -- basically called him out on attitude. If that is the case, then I hope it's Palmer (if he's any good!) When was the last time we had a decent Palmer?

So to sum up, we are signing an AM with links to Chelsea from a championship club. Also moving forward with the signing of a striker possibly Plange, whilst trying to offload Waghorn, Walker and Kane from the first team squad

Bomb out one former Chelsea player for a questionable attitude and replace him with a choice of another!

Fingers crossed for that good player, apart from him we need a couple of left sided players for balance we have had Jones, Shipley and Matssen leave all left footed.

Have similar views on Brown. Would be disappointed if it is him. Has missed a hefty chunk of every season through injuries. ACL amongst the list of injuries.

When you say Kane hasn't fitted in with the squad is that ability wise or attitude/personality wise?

Even when he was fit he didn’t have a very exciting career.

What I wouldn’t really get with this one is we weren’t rumoured to be interested in him last season when he left Chelsea. Now after 0 appearances for PNE and a long term injury we are, unless it’s down to wages?

Love how everyone is writing off signings before we've even signed anyone. We need a second AM, let's give whoever is signed a chance.

Regards Plange, would be fairly happy with that. Good player. Would supplement what we have in Gyökeres and Godden.

Info like this make the Kane signing even more bonkers. It didn’t seem a good fit from the start; older than our “usual” signing, not a rising star/high prospect player and one with off field issues. The latter has become even more apparent as it’s clear to see - he has an attitude problem.

And, he’s terrible at football.

I wouldn't say he's terrible. Had a decent spell where everyone was saying he was better than Dabo. If he's not a fit them move him on but it's hardly been a disaster.
