Why are people losing their nuts already? It's clear that funds to pay the wages of a decent defender are available as we were setting up to get in JCS.
As far as I can tell we were close to a deal but got gazumped last minute. And that was more to do with geography than finance.
He'd have wanted north of 8k per week I'd imagine. This shows funds are available, It's all about setting up an alternative now. Calm down, wait and see how things unfold.
He’ll be on closer to £15k I reckon. I get the impression £8k doesn’t get you much.

Can’t pass the ball for toffee and for someone well above 6ft he can’t head it either. Positionally suspect,not very fast and is basically a crock who’s played a handful of games over the last 3 years.

He's a journeyman and not a good one.Doubt Lyle Taylor will get a game at Notts Forest in the Prem seeming as they loaned him out to Blues last season… would you take him on loan? While his goal scoring record hasn’t been the best last two seasons I think he’d thrive with people like O’Hare, Hamer & Palmer slotting through balls to him

Just some updates: That Jordy Caicedo we were apparently looking at has joined Tigres in the Mexican league. Preston and millwall also signing quite a few decent players.

I don’t know enough about him as a player to comment but highly rated young lad with potential and championship experience is probably where we will/should be looking for replacements
