Buchanan would be a free on lower wages so would be better economically, McCallum is the better player though, but about the same age, I would love to have Sam back but if we can have our own LWB I would go for Buchanan, again I still think they read my suggestion and turned it into a “rumour”would take whoever fits a couple factors the best.
first factor being is their signing a loan or permanent? whoever is a perm would be my choice as i’m tired of loaning in a starting lwb.
the second, more important factor being will their signing be economical? if we sign buchanan for a fee, will we be able to strengthen other, more needed areas of the squad the same as if we were to loan in McCallum?
just something’s to think about, personally just comparing the two i wouldn’t mind either.
