Big problem with the squad is going from a footballing manager to a hoof ball manager, totally different things required from the players.

Imagine if we had got (or still time to get) money for Haynes and Ruben!

Think that'd beat Ranson getting cash From Fulham for Gray!

Or the Gary Borrowdale cash. Maybe we should change the business model and just sign a whole bunch of shit left backs to sell on.

posted this in another thread like really madness:

BREAKING NEWS

Wow... Sky sources understand League One leaders Scunthorpe United have rejected an extraordinary bid of £4m for striker Kevin Van Veen, from Chinese Super League club Henan Jianye FC.

Scunthorpe are reluctant to sell a key player as they bid for promotion to the Championship, but would be interested if the offer nears £8m, we are told. Negotiations continue.

Just a shame that we don't have anyone who can score goals. We wouldn't be bottom if we had one.

No it wasn't Hammond was on a yellow and twice in the 2nd half took our players out when we were on the counter, he was only saved by the fact he'd already been booked the ref bottled it.

But ok.

It is amazing that we have all these apparent shit players moving onwards and upwards while we continue a downward spiral. It's almost af it's not the players and not the managers. Who does that leave to blame? Besides the fans of course. That goes without saying.

It can only be a reflection of the toxic environment created at the club.

Of all the players that have left the club over the last few seasons a tiny percentage have gone on to better things.

If you just paste the URL of a tweet it embeds it automatically, plus gives the author some credit.

Consistent with the SISU policy of replacing young improving talent with old, injury prone has beens: We're waiting on an 80 year old from his hospital bed to be released home, so he can sign for CCFC until the end of the season.

So all we've had is a rumour of someone called Douglas in-coming...righto.

Not that I expected anyone to actually WANT to come here; who would willingly sign for the club in this predicament, aside from a pay-day seeking has-been mercenary? No sign of any of them in-coming either, which really speaks volumes.
