We're travelling down to Wembley from York on the Sunday morning. Just had an email from LNER saying it might be cancelled, anyone heard anything?

Sorry if true, but I predicted it 2 weeks ago, the money grabbing train 🚂 drivers are not going miss an opportunity to inflict misery on the public, especially on a weekend of the semi final. 🤬

It looks like it is a purely LNER action and isn’t about the pay claim, it’s about LNER supposedly not keeping existing agreements. Apparently they have had the audacity to use managers to drive trains to try to continue to provide a service to the public when the drivers are on strike in support of their money grabbing pay claim.

In other words the managers were required to be scabs - industrial relations strategy for beginners!!
