As said before either Bolton away or Tranmere (home?) where we battered them and lost. Think they were both in the season we went up

That Tranmere game was a pisstake Im pretty sure it was their second attack of the game right at the end as well that won them the game

On the train to yet another godforsaken shit hole and as ever another person asking ‘ What’s happening at Coventry’. What mood I was in at the time resulted in whether they got the full on twenty minutes explanation and bore them to death or the ten seconds we’ve been shit on by our own council, owners and FL. Happy days.

Playing against Bolton’s youth side because their first team was on Strike in 19/20 and being unable to score after smashing them for 90 minutes felt like they only had 1 attack at that point I was ready for another shite season

The Tranmere game was played at St Andrew’s.
Also shown on Sky.

Has to be the most one sided game I’ve ever seen, thad didn’t result in a win.

Is that the game we wore the two tone kit for the first time? On a Sunday.

Yeah that and the Crewe game that others have mentioned. Tranmere barely got the ball outside of their defensive third and then won it with their first attack with about 5 mins to go. You just have to smile and move on when stuff like that happens. Not me, I sulked like a child all week.

We lost 2-6 at home in April 2018, id just checked into my hotel in Buenos Aries and heard the score updates .Not a great start to my trip to Argentina and Uruguay although I did go and watch Boca Juniors play that weekend.

I'm convinced they were out on the piss the night before. Their striker stood 30 yards off our defence for goal kicks and we just didn't know what to do. Calamity

The annoying thing about that game v Bolton’s U18s wasn’t just that we didn’t score/win, it’s that they went on to concede 5+ goals in 5 of the next six games

It was yeah, from everyone’s better memory than mine, I do remember walking away thinking it was the craziest game of football I’ve ever seen. Lost 3-0 after absolutely dominating them, bar the 3 attacks they had all game and scored from all 3 attacks
