I think Leicester do hate us! Haven't done us any favours this season - beaten us twice, haven't won against Forest, Millwall, Donny, Bristol City or Pompey! Looks like it's not changing tonight!

All we can do is keep picking up points. We don't have any control over other results.

£12 million spent and they can only beat one team in the bottom six? (erm, us ).

Crap return for that money.

I'm not so sure about P'boro, I think they need one more win.

i said before about P'boro i really do think we may catch them. Not easy but 9 behind and we have to play them, i fancy us picking up 3 more wins at home and 1-4 points away!!!! on the other hand 1 more win and i think they are away from us. very very tight down there though and it looked like 3 from 4, now add p'boro, millwall and forest IMO.

Peterborough 0-2 West Ham

Peterborough probably have enough points already now

If that were true, we only need nine points to survive. I think we can catch either them or millwall. They may be nearly safe, but not mathematically-and we have to play them!!

I don't think it will be much more than that, 1 more win should see them safe. I don't see them being dragged in tbh.

On the other hand I think Milwall and Forest should still be worrying.

Not the worst results.

Hull look beatable... (now watch us lose on sat :facepalm

It's in our hands. We need to beat Bristol, Donny and Millwall.

12 points should do it. So we need that away win

The weekend's looking very interesting. Bristol City and Pompey have both got home games against midtable-ish teams and will be hoping/expecting to pick up points. We need something at Hull I think.

The mid table teams are there for the taking.

They have nothing to play for.

Bristol city are still the team to concentrate on. Never mind forest & milwall, they only need a win and a draw to be safe so I cant see us catching them. As for Peterborough, if their not safe yet then we have no chance!

Try telling Derby County that they are mid-tableish. They are only 5 points off the play-offs.

They are mid table but not quite at the stage where they have nothing to play for. Ipswich, Burnley, Barnsley are the teams who have realistically nothing to play for now. All the rest around midtableish will either be eyeing up a late play off push or need to secure a few more points for safety.
As the weeks go by there will become more and more teams though who have nothing to play for.

Once we get above Bristol city and if we still have at least two more teams bwlow us it will be down to results of them teams more than ours. We will only have to do as well as them. Until that time we have to do better than at least one club and not let the others catch us up. At least it is in our hands now as we play Bristol

It is a worry that all the teams around us seem to pick up points everytime they play. We really need Brum to finish off doncaster Friday. I Find myself staring at the table for ages its got to be 3 from 4 now I think surely pompey can't keep winning...please stop winning!

yeh i do the same castle

i think if brum beat donny then thats them gone

but what was a 2 horse race between us and bristol is now a 3way with pompey, lets hope we can watch up with forest and maybe leapfrog all the teams below us, we are on a good run but were still right in the thick of it!

I still believe that both Forest and millwall are not safe. we have Millwall to play and the gap is only 5! Although peterborough are 9 points away, we have them to play and we have all seen how quick things are changing. Everyone is throwing a win in here and there to keep the bottom 7 involved. IMO there is more than just 4 teams in danger of going.
