They are also trying to get Romain Sawyers to sign a new contact as his current contract expires in June 2016, wouldn't mind him here

Wheels are still firmly on, thanks. His absence hasn't affected us at all, we're not a one man team and don't rely on lots of loan signings that may return at any time. If he goes, he goes. There's not much we can do about it.

Sawyers is unlikely to leave in January, as he's more likely to get higher wages if he leaves when his contract runs out in the summer, as the buying club won't pay a fee.
