That is wasn,t the point surely? We are not boycotting the fa cup, it was just an ideal time to do it as it was a shit draw!! the point IMO is to bring national attention on our plight and also bad publicity to SISU. I want a big draw and i want the ricoh bopping!! pusb

That was the point of doing it today because it would be easier to convince people to join in as it isn't a very interesting draw, in the eyes of many.

9000? I hope someone took some pictures of the crowd the stadium after 2nd half kick off, then maybe it will be possible to gauge what it really was.

Firstly there's no way it was 9,000 - ever since SISU came along the attendances quite often seem way off as if they're on some kind of fiddle (would that surprise anyone?)
Secondly; it's not about how many went - it's more about getting in the papers and on the news in order to further damage SISU's reputation.
Investors won't touch them if they see such bad publicity. SISU will be hating this and want out as soon as possible - but are trying to get cash they don't f*cking deserve. Buy the club for £1, remortgage the training ground, sell off the players, get the club relegated and demand a big pay off? F*ck off!!!

Don't think it will mate. We're no different to other supporters and they'll realise that.
Just need to do whatever we can to force these bastards out. Today's protest was a very good start - got national media coverage and the good turnout for the cameras will ensure it's in the news again tomorrow.

I have to agree mate i was there from 2.30 through to 3.15 then went back into the casino when the crowds filtered off and wen't back to the protest at full time. I agree with everything you said embarrassing was not the word it was toe curling. I'm all for the protest and getting SISU out but it was a shambles IMO that said a big thumbs up for the people who made the banners and i'll be sure to 'like' Wingy's posts for a week, after the effort he put in on that coffin, top man.

Yeah i kind of agree was a real shame though not to do things a bit more in your face (Right i know i'm going to get some stick for this), i don't mean trashing the club shop smashing the windows etc..... I mean singing some songs with a bit of passion, come on my friend shouted "Fuck off SISU *Too the pompey chime*" and i kid you not three to four people turned around with the filthiest look on there faces stating we were are not aloud to swear as there were kids around? OK, that's fine but surely if the kids are going to a football match they are going to hear that sort of language almost certainly and if you are easily offended and have kids why take them to a protest/ demonstration surrounded by half drunk men at a football match, for me it was all a bit la-di-dah but i hope this could happen again but on a larger scale.

I haven't got problem with your mate singing fuck off sisu, but a peaceful protest ain't the time or place, this was about embarrasing sisu not ourselves. And if that was 150 people then there were only 3000 in the ground. It's no coincidence that wingy was told the attendance would be 9000 by a steward an hour before kick off and then that is the exact attendance announced by the club.For me it was a succes, there were no arrests, nobody going to the game got abused and the press were there to cover it:claping hands:

I'll be honest, I didn't notice any difference in the crowd from kick off to 15 mins in.
The coffin looked excellent though.

When I was at the ticket office I would say there were around 150 people congregated at the statue but only about half of that were chanting, although the pictures on twitter do look really good.

As a starter protest on a cold January it was not bad. Plenty of people before the game to put the anti sisu view across. After the game not as many protestors but what does anyone expect, it was cold, dark and dismall! Good on Geoff Foster who stopped the full fifteen minutes into the game.
Wait till nearer the warmer end of the season when historically the most supported and "passionate" City protests occur, ie succsessful Strachan and Richardson out campaigns.
Untill then lets keep it going every game , keep the pressure on Sisu.

From a Rovers fan---Do your stewards leave you alone now if you display protest banners in the ground ? Ive seen the trouble they caused by trying to remove them a while ago on Youtube.

Yeah. I've no idea what those people are on. They see SISU killing the club before their very eyes, know that Hoffman has bid - and yet not only can't be arsed to join in, but have the nerve to criticize the protesters.
