He never got a good reception or any acknowledgment when he first returned vs us which was a surprise as he was instrumental in our rise through the leagues and was one of the few to play in all 3. Maybe that’s because most of the stadium don’t know who he is…
Hyam didn’t push for a move, we touted him and sold him on the cheap to Blackburn to pay for the pitch, and Blackburn still managed to make their money back this summer even at 30, selling him to Wrexham.
Grateful as I am for his contribution, especially after promotion, with O'Hare it was how he left and how he acted, the rumours of a dressing room row after he was subbed (WBA?) and word until late on that he was still considering staying. Plus the "learning Spanish for his big foreign move" only to end up at the rancid Sheff Utd. Not exactly graceful. I have very fond memories of a goal against them last season where Tatsu gives him a yard head start but still beat him to the ball by a yard. Also, do they not have running water in Yorkshire yet? He doesn't look like he's bathed since he left!
I’m sure he’s getting more money now, but there must be a bit of him that is surely feeling a bit stupid. I’m not a massive hater on him, but he clearly went to Sheff Utd because he thought it was an easy ticket to the PL. There is a poetic justice in how things have flipped.

Liam Kelly didn't get the reception he deserved at legends day either, it doesn't mean that he wasn't appreciated. Hyam was a no fuss solid player for us. Like i said the feeling againsnt the club (not Hyam) was really ill when we sold him.Wasn't he our player of the season one year?

I always think that in terms of appearances they should be ranked in terms of starting appearances first, which I presume would change these figures somewhat. Also, these figures will be skewed by our PL players only being able to play a maximum of 38 league games a season, as opposed to 46 played in the other leagues.
