This is a terrible letter, a cock eyed rant, turning SBT into a shouty SISU out brigade. Getting personal with "Tim" shows a lack of professionalism and dignity which the Trust should rise above.

There is also the arrogant assumption that a show of hands at a forum represents the view of every Coventry supporter (and trust member)

I want the trust to take a really scrutineering, interregatory approach and engaging the RIGHT media to tell the story of the mismanagement of this club. Saturday afternoon jaunts to London and faintly ridiculous ultimatums mean that sadly the Trust, with behaviour like this risks being sidelined by ANY future owners.

I think it's about spot on. It's refreshing to have an organised fans group with it's finger on the pulse of how the majority of CCFC supporters feel.

Or as Godiva would say, I fully disagree with the above

For a (Supposedly) clever man/woman....Don't you ever read the CT? over 13k City supporters signing a petition....every poll put up on this forum puts SISU way down the list of wanted owners....That is just the ones that DID manage to vote
I've always said the so called "Brainy ones" are thick as fuck!

I thought the petition was about keeping the club in Coventry and that it was general consensus that a lot of people from other clubs participated. So you can't take that number and claim the Trust represent 13k.

And poll's on this forum can't be representative either as it has become the center stage for sisu out followers.

To the OP:

If as it seems you are against and totally disinterested in a new stadium as in your opinion it would be "ruinous" then why are you so interested in him answering those questions on it?

Could not be that behind your veil you know as I do a new ground within easy reach would see the support attend as I would or any number of 330+ thousand people as they don't care less about who owns, runs, finances the football club particularly?

Of course it doesn't represent every City Supporter.........But it does represent well over 13k of supporters:facepalm:

Have to agree with a lot of this I'm afraid.. Which is a shame because I thought the trust were doing a half decent job until now..

But this statement / email that I received was misinformed , full of errors and seemed childish in some of its content.

There's a difference.

And I actually didn't find him slippery or evasive - if only people would have let him explain without interrupting. But the forums are on youtube - go and listen if you really want to listen to what he said.

I was there so I don't need to listen again. You have backed everything SISU and the cronies have inflicted on this club throughout this sorry mess even heralding the infamous 'text a sub' idea as fantastic. I have no doubt at all you will still be backing them right up to the moment they put the final nail into the heart of this club. I would've been shocked beyond belief if you had found him slimy or evasive...after all he's speaking for you and the handful of other clueless idiots who are backing him all the way to finally kill off a once proud club.

Utterly clueless what I'm reading on here People who have been no where near any of this fervour against this move ,this sample is wrong /twisted Skewed whatever you wish to call it is real.
If these jokers move this club it is dead the Clubs own Data suggests an mere 25% will follow the club be it temporarily or pemenantly if it is outside the City.

Your reply is offensive and abusive. Please try to accept that you are no more or better supporter than I am.

Even if we groundshare there will be supporters following in thousands. Should we move to another stadium then there will be the same buzz as when we moved to the Ricoh.
Only difference would be, that should it happen, we will for the first time in decades become sustainable.
That's what it's all about. And yes, I support that.

This WILL again become a great club that will make us proud.
Whoever the owners are.

That's my opinion.

So when Fisher says they expect 2-3k at an interim groundshare he could be right.
And if the team performs well that could attract more?

Yes exactly ,one stat you're willing to accept ,and one I don't dispute ,and one that will see this club drop through the floor of ambition on the pitch ,just for some corporates who bullied a few fans with Banners to get their Value into the books, and you wonder why people want them gone.

If the groundshare is the most important issue - why not put pressure on ACL?
They are very reluctant to find any solution as long as sisu are owners. Isn't it more likely that the Trust can persuade the ccc and Higgs to change their stance than to force a change a ownership of the club?
If the season starts without an agreement between ACL and sisu, then we will never play at the Ricoh again (is sisu wins the bid).

Apologies if you thought "clueless idiots" was abusive...I just feel fans like yourself are dangerous giving TF the false impression that he has a mandate to carry on with this suicidal plan...He spoke about this at the forum...as I was listening to every word he said. There is no doubt in my mind that the vast majority of fans don't want a new ground and most certainly are completely against any form of groundshare...Most can envisage that will be the beginning of the end for the club. You are of course entitled to your opinion but mine is that it's a very deluded one and in all probability a very dangerous one.

Boys, Boys!
Lets not fight amongst ourselves!
We all want a good outcome for the club!
We all would hope for a new start but we might not get it.
We will soon know what the best deal presented to the administrator is.
If we are left with only SISU's proposals to go with - Then go with it!
Those proposals will not kill the club!
If we all get behind it we will still be a force to be reckoned with!
The only thing that might kill the club is
Not going with it!

Always a handy cheap shot - the difference being that they haven't run the club (either literally or "into the ground") - but why let facts get in the way?
