Coventry City have confirmed travel and car parking plans for their ‘home’ matches at Sixfields Stadium this season – as well as matchday ticket prices.
Matchday tickets at the Northampton venue range from £13 to £18 for adults, from £9 to £13 for concessions, and, for Junior Sky Blue members, from free for under-sevens to £5. The prices have been cut from last season as the club try to win over fans following the move out of Coventry.
More than 15,000 Sky Blues supporters have signed our City Must Stay petition and 7,000 packed into Broadgate in a protest march organised by the Sky Blue Trust in opposition to Sisu’s plan to play home games in Northampton for up to five years while a new stadium is built near Coventry.
Thousands of fans are expected to snub Sunday's opening 'home' game against Bristol City in favour of watching a City Legends charity match at the Ricoh Arena.
On Monday, the club revealed 400 season tickets had been sold for Sixfields. Around 5,700 were sold at the Ricoh Arena last summer.
The club are organising coach travel from White Street car park in Coventry city centre for £7.50 per person.
Car parking at Sixfields is £4 and £2 for season ticket holders.
Dan Walker, the club’s ticketing manager, said: “For both car parking and coach travel we have kept prices as low as we possibly can because we want to make it as easy and affordable as we can for our supporters who are travelling to Northampton.
“We reduced season ticket prices dramatically to account for the fact that fans would be incurring additional travel costs and matchday ticket prices are also reduced significantly compared to last season.”

No Bristol City fan in their right mind would choose to watch an exhibition game involving ex-players of clubs they have no affiliation to rather than cheer on their own team in a league fixture. We must get away from this idea that the wider football public give a toss about our current plight. They don't, and like it or not, many will be critical of us for not following our team this season.

I think it's £4.50 to ride the swan to Northampton these days, but makes sure that you tip in advance, and look out for them signets

JUST SAY NO!!!

Lets all stick together
Mess it up Sky Blues
While we stick together
SISU can only lose
Fisher or Seppala, Otium or anyone
They shan’t defeat us
We’ll fight until SISU have gone

400 - my arse

400 x £200 = £80,000 (even if that were true and they were all full price)
Do hope you hadnt mortgaged them Timmy

People are beginning to understand and learn about our issues

I work near London, and several people (some who know very little about football) - come to discuss the goings on with me. They are quite knowlegeable about it all - even if a little ill informed in some cases - thinking its only about us having no money, rather than it being a fight over the Ricoh

Keep spreading the message about out corrupt owners and the Football league. People will take notice

You are very wrong on this, I've spoken to a lot of opposition supporters and almost all but the most spiteful of Leicester fans are horrified by this bullshit !!

I think they do agree with our stance but they won't go and see their team in preference to going to the Ricoh. The "all fans are sticking together" is a little galling sometimes. Yes, many fans agree with us, but not many would be proactive. Look at some of the comments on the Portsmouth thread by the same people on here who are calling for support from other supporters.

Read some of the comments on the Portsmouth thread. That shows you how supportive we were of them...

I've never been near that thread to be honest but you'll always get some morons revelling in someone else's misery ! I would say outside of our most bitter rivals fans will sympathise, although I don't expect people to travel to a bit of a family fun day from Bristol. If they protest it will be by staying home.

Not as many who agree with us trying to starve our owners out. Check out twitter and other social sites.

Hope the coach is not leaving from the Ricoh car park about an hour before the charity match or it might get an interesting send off
