looks like its very nearly a sell-out (only about 20 tickets left on the internet) cant actually wait as i have mine and its a local game for me as i live in between oxford and swindon (would always side with oxford) and have a few swindon supporting mates. seems last nights result has increased swindon sales massively. PUSB!!

We've sold the 1200?

according to the stadium view, there were only 700 available and there pretty much all sold, swindon dont normally open the stand behind the goal (the one with no roof) unless there selling like hot cakes.

We should see 1500 Sky Blues down here so I imagine there will be plenty behind the goal, lets hope for a dry day !!

Looking at the Swindon FC web site there apears to be a whole stand that does not have any tickets allocated, not sure if this is 'out of service'. Appears to be tickets available in the rest of the ground if you don't mind been with the their fans.

yh they use that extra stand for big games to allocate extra seats to away games, but i dont know if they will allocate it to us now, with the game only being a few days away, there wouldnt be time to send out tickets, and sometimes they dont allow away fans to collect/buy tickets at there ground, having been there to watch oxford i know a bit about it.

So no pay on the gate then.... glad I've got my ticket :p

IF the original allocation of 700 odd has sold out (which it looks likely), then the uncovered stand behind the goal will be opened and that holds an extra 2100.

I'd say the chances of getting in are good to excellent. ;)

Id guess until they were sold out. Ill just get there early(ish) to make sure im let in :)

Yeah get there early mate, i dont know if they would stop fans coming in if more had turned up than expected. (Although I wouldn't like to be the steward who had to tell loads of Cov fans they werent allowed in despite it being pay on the gate!)

Hello, Swindon fan in peace here. Looking forward to Saturday, got my kids birthday party at the ground a couple of hours before the kick off then the match after :p

Anyway, think this could be a decent game, Paolo sounds really up for it in the local press and our players generally seem to up their game when we play what are considered as a bigger team.

Our captain, Alan McCormack is out injured, as is our best striker, Andy Williams although we have a sizeable squad so its not a major concern. We have been poor at home the last couple of games, some have put that down to the injury of Gary Roberts, although he is expected to start on Saturday on the left with Ritchie down the right. Up front it will be 2 of James Collins, Paul Benson or Adam Rooney.

It looks like your initial allocation was 700 and you will have 500 pay on the day tickets available which would fill the corner of the Arkells Stand (just the £25 a throw) if by chance you bring more than the 1200 we would likely open up the uncovered Stratton Bank which accomodates just over 2000 fans, normally at £19 a ticket.

Those coming by train early enough, you are spoilt for Pubs just 2-3 mins away from the station with the normal selection of Wetherspoons, Yates, cheap beer and foodetc etc. The pub nearest to the ground for away fans is The Merlin, which is the other side of The Magic Roundabout, if you from The Merlin to the ground (about 5 mins) you go past a great little chippy next to The Magic Roundabout. The away end has a new bar fitted, Bar 71 or something like that, from what i know its the normal gnats pee beer, but convenient. For those driving, the parking is not brilliant. You can pay a fiver next to the ground on the cricket pitch, there is also a bar in the cricket pavillion that is popular with away fans. My tip for this would be to get there before 2pm and there is room for about 15 cars literally on the alley that approaches the cricket ground, this is on County Road, at the junction of Manchester Road. I have parked there for 10 years now, usually get there about 2 and sit in the car for a bit with a McDonalds, which is 5 minutes from the ground.

Hope you have a safe journey down, I'm going for 2-1 Swindon, guess I would do though

Yes you are spot on, 3-1 Swindon ;) about 10k in attendance

not 18k you got against Mk then ;-) lol

though i think the football league have realised now your ground has a full capacity of nearly 16k???

can see use bringing over a 1000 if we do that we may require the addition seats!

Should be a good game Robins seems to have found something and 3 wins in 4 isn't bad at all!

Looking forward to visiting my 6th new ground of the season!

im going to call it now 2-0 city!!

No idea where they got 18k from, the most you can squeeze in our place is 14'500 with the segregation included

Food is pricey here by the way, try getting something to eat before you get in the ground

I had a pie at Swindon a couple of years back, it was the BEST pie I have ever had, do you know what make it may have been ?

I remember we were there a few years ago in the cup, filled the area behind the goal.

Cov fans caused aggro during and after If I remember.

Same scoreline would be nice..... :claping hands:

So are we all invited?

Before the game to check out the hospitality, then after the game to celebrate us getting 3 points :D
