Three New Contracts (33 Viewers)

I’ve said it before on here people are saying Dasilva has been excellent are only judging it on his previous levels not the levels of a decent full back, Boro could see he was the weak link and put Whittaker very wide and Dasilva just left him alone we’re lucky he had a bad game and they don’t feed him that much.
this makes no sense

It's been said a million times and there is no point in going around in circles yet again but JDS has been very good for a large part of the season and the issues he has had are largely tactical and he is doing as asked.

I know there are people on here that will ignore this and just say he is shit but fuck them

This is bollocks.

All had another year after this, maybe getting pay rises ahead of promotion?

Don’t like how little info the club gives out on contracts and youth these days I seriously doubt in an industry as small as football others don’t know the details if they want to.

MVE, JDS and Kitching have all signed new contracts. No info on how long for.

Great news on getting Milan tied down. Not too fussed about the others. Think they were both up end of next season?

Why the fuck have we gave JDS a new contract! This is going to be like getting stuck with Wilson, Bidwell and Allen for seasons all over again

Just gives them a little bit of an incentive to get promoted. 🤑

Da Silva has got his weaknesses certainly but he's a decent full back at this level. He's pretty good one on one as he's got a low centre of gravity, solid in the tackle.
But has also been found out numerous times this season at this level. Like others, if we managed to go up he will be out of his depth.
A back up if we reach the the promised land and a position that undoubtedly needs addressing in the summer.

All 3 top 6 level champ players at a minimum with MvE having a real chance at making the step up to prem. Smart business to sort all 3 out, if we do go up, I imagine Kitching and JDS will likely drop into rotation players but doesn’t mean they won’t be useful.

Nice to be run like a real club.

We wouldn't be where we are without him. He has been excellent this season and had a great game on Monday evening.

Why our we constantly dismissive of our own players?
It’s Cally Fedora, knows as much about football as I do about minute black holes in deep space

Odd they haven't mentioned the length of the new deals.

Bidwell and Allen have been great servants for our club. They have helped us to get where we are and can be relied on when needed. Always train hard and don't complain when not in the side.

If we get promoted this season JDS will be similar. He will have a part to play whenever needed. You can't have a full squad of players that expect to play every game and if we are only going to bring in quality players we won't be able to replace the whole squad.
