Nimely was late tonight and not too happy, but he was outstanding
Norwood and Deegan very good, loads of energy
we changed things tonight, we had to go with what was best

8 out of 10's?

Not Baker and certainly not Jordan Clarke who was completely done a couple of times. He also said the quality showed through tonight. Not much quality out there from what I could see. More a battling performance and one of spirit and determination.

Thought Thorn talked a lot of sense on the whole but a couple of things I certainly disagreed with there.

Yeah, I thought he swore there.:thinking about:

If he did. You would of got the 'Apologies for the language used by Andy Thorn' from Stuart Linnell there.

You don't play a team like Leeds quality off the park with determination and spirit.
I thought there was bags of quality out there today.
Played off the park is an exaggeration but we were the better side by a fair margin.

"He led by example, Gary McSheffrey," said Thorn. "I thought he was exceptional, showed real character and leadership qualities.

"I didn't see either of them (the penalties), I was just looking at our supporters, but I am just pleased they both went in.

"Being a local lad as well he is desperate to do well and it was a massive result for us tonight.

"We played slightly differently tonight, but still tried to play football and Nimely has got quality and if he gets you squared up you are in trouble because he has got quick feet and can move himself quickly.

"He did brilliantly to win both penalties. He is quality and I thought Oliver Norwood was excellent alongside Gary Deegan (in midfield) and I thought it was a massive performance from all our players.

"People had written us off and it has made us strong as a group."
