Ah yes, the LBB I knew so well. Despite your nice friendly PMs to me a couple of weeks ago I didn't think it would be long before the poison returned.
Yep, I was pleased SISU saved us. Yep, I gave them my backing. Yep, I was pleased with the players they were buying. Yep, I believed what they had to say. Yep, I liked Ray Ranson. Yep, I said they should be given a chance. Was I wrong? Yep. I think I remember posting a "LBB was right all along and I was wrong thread". Maybe you can find that, as you seem to have the time to look into the past to find posts.
Now then. Let's do the same thing with Hoff - I don't mind which side we take. One of us can publicly announce he's great and one of us can say he'll ruin the club. We'll wait a couple of years and then see who is wrong. There's a guarantee that one of us will be. Will you be so quick to copy and paste your posts if that's you?
And, be my guest LBB. Post as much as you want off the old forum. Let those on here know what sort of poster you are.

I can't let this one lie. Yes, I did defend SISU. I didn't "claim" they spent £20M. I quoted what RR said about the club.
I've never said anyone was a Villa/Leicester fan or called with anti-CCFC whenever they disagreed with me and I would love to see you post a quote which said I did. In fact, I said and have said since that is one of the things that really pisses me off about message boards.

Torchy, there is no need to get defensive...I merely stated that by addressing fellow CCFC fans as 'idiots' is harsh...particularly when those making these remarks have themselves made quite definitive statements in the past (suggesting that they are fact...when they are not) to 'slap' fellow fans down, when they simply have a different point of view.
Torchy, you could have classed as an 'idiot' for your unreserved defence of SISU over the years, as proven by written comments made on another forum (see above). However, I would not stoop so low....you've been there, as you admit, when you have made your views known...and it would have been unfair to class those as 'idiotic', or you as an 'idiot'. Admittedly, history proves that your comments/views could have been classed as so....but let's say that you are your 2/3 'followers' were....misguided.

Does it ever happen that someone may change there point of view ,when given further experience and evidence of said subject. I change my mind daily , mostly after learning more about what we/they are talking about it.
If Thorn wins the next 6 games i bet my bottom dollar that i will change my mind .and say he's the man for the job.
I won't though change my mind about SISU, the vermin thats destroying our club, but anything else, then yes i might change my view

This sounds like Torchomatic, Half time orange, Astradyne and Ivanov on the CET forum.
very possible that they are using these aliases on here....
The 'if you don't agree with me, you are clueless, and not as informed as me' was very much the attitude displayed on the CET forum by the above...particularly when it came to SISU. There was an insistence - quite verbally aggressive at times - that SISU WERE working for the best interets of the fans and club, and that CCFC fans should be THANKFUL for their involvemnet....I think one of them may even have labelled them as '...saviours...'....you can read it all on the CET forum, it's locked but still there.
Disappointing that they got sucked in, I can live with that...but to then verbally assault any CCFC fan who dared question SISU (or clueless managers such as Coleman) was out of order. A few stood up to this, and well...here we are again. Except, the anti-SISU stance seems to have softened, I see (or maybe not as much as I thought judging by the comments in an earlier post...).

If there is anything I have said which is factually incorrect, I apologise, if not, then you have to accept that this is what you said...yes, we all make mistakes, so no need to take the 'i am not playing anymore' attitude, as your above post suggests.

Anyone who posted on the CET forum will know that I debate hard....use facts, give my opinion and stimulate debate...if that is too much for you, well, sorry, but I can't help you on that one, my fellow-CCFC friend.

It seems odd that you'd criticise other people for their treatment of 'fellow fans' considering the constant harassment of gazza, calling him a troll schoolboy and offering him to meet at some pub in a thinly-veiled passive-aggressive manner.

You fail to highlight his provocative remarks, to which, I admit, I did take the bait and respond in a disappointing fashion.

Some of these were threatening, and could have led to legal action, which I declined to take, even though this was an option. Above all, however, misguided, he was a CCFC fan...or at least I gave him the benefit of the doubt that he was one....
In posting over 5000 times on a particular forum, ajsccfc, you will recognise that I will generate differences of opinion, and put myself out there to be 'shot at'...I have no problem with that, I have proved in the past that I can dish it out and take it....some post-ers let this spill over into abuse...gazza was one such post-er....and some obviously can't take it, stating that they will ignore fellow post-ers, or not engage in debate.....
Torchy talks of the benefit of hindsight...I find this an interesting use of a word which has been defined as '....a way of covering one's tracks to hide previous misdemeanours, which are now explained as a misunderstanding, when in fact they were, and are, firmly held beliefs.'.

As I state ICHAN, i made over 5000 posts...to give my views over something I care passionately about...some people agreed and some didn't.
I challenged some post-ers views and the views of the powers-that-be (including the infamous SBT free-ticket-gate scandal which may have contrbuted to their downfall)...and naturally that will bring praise and criticism...I can live with that.....
Take it as well as dish it out...none of this schoolboy 'I'm ignoring you' bullshit attitude.

Agreed procdoc, his only failing was his insistence that SISU were the '...saviours..' of the club and his failure to listen to anything which criticised them.
As for tactics, managers, players, he was spot on...incisive and informed.

Anyone posting on a forum is likely to get involved in the silliness, but I don't really get why his calling someone an idiot for repeatedly naming Thorn a shit fat whatever would somehow be crossing a line when pretty much everyone is guilty of similar now and then, much less require a trawl through the archives for a character assassination. A lot of the stuff from the Telegraph board seems best left there, particularly that guy who made at least half the member list by himself. Blimey.

Hindsight is valid in a lot of cases, I was enthusiastic about Thorn not too long ago and now I've all but given up on him. Plus I loved Oasis once.

I'll try and find it, ajsccfc....it was hilarious, we bust the 'Natalie Cox gets free tickets from the players' story...which suggested an abuse of their position within the SBT...
They tried to corner me in a pub in Barnsley, but I got away, then they visited The Wheatsheaf' but were chased away...!!!
This then led to the 'COX OUT' thread which ultimately led to the demise of the 'well-respected' 22-people strong (£2.50 a throw) supporters group.
