'bantam' suggest you ask our esteemed 'head of football operations',
after all he has a wealth of knowledge,
'kd' do tell

The fact that he has never managed before is a problem cos attracting players is harder. Players will almost always choose an experienced manager as they will benefit. I understand people need to start somewhere. But maybe not in a league as high as the championship.

Why is AT's inability to attract players a problem? We are not looking to bring in any players so its not an issue. Is he a great manager - of course not. Is the team he has shit - of course. Could a better more experienced manager get more out of them - of course. Did the fans demand AT's appointment at the end of last season - of course. Are SISU going to spend any money getting rid of AT and getting in someone better - of course not. Want rid of Thorn - then get rid of the cancer that is SISU. Only then can this club be turned around with new management, new players and some hope and dignity on and of the pitch. Join the protests and get SISU out. Or jsut sit on your hands, slag off the manager and think thats going to solve all our ills.

He was sh*t.

Actually he was a good enough player but that has zilch to do with anything. Marinhio I think is a pretty good manager and he never played football at all.

How can we even think about scoring when the fat scout starts mcdonald, worst striker ever!

Behave yourself mate? Really?

You're going for such an outlandish statement after the lads played 20 minutes here and there with a player who doesn't hold the ball up that well? (Something he bases his game on?) I'm aware we can't drop Lukas to try McD and Platt as Lukas is scoring, but to say he's the worst striker ever?

What's Thorns fucking weight got to do with anything you pleb? "Big" Sam ring a bell?

Some people are on this site to purely be as moronic as possible, don't let them wind you up.

Thorne stated McDonald was his number one Target good scout my arse.

So it is AT's fault we have a shit squad, and without him we would be a lot higher in the table with lots more points?

You must be part of SISU and teying to brainwash us into believing it is all his fault.

Yes AT is a moron, he doesn't know what he's doing and he cant scout for shit!! because this must be true, I always lash out at my bosses in public as well!!

Of course if you didn't realise, I was being sarcastic. Some people on this forum shouldnt be allowed to post...

When we have 23 chances on goal and the keeper plays really well, as in what happened against Sheff Utd last season, then you can say you don't know how we didn't score.

As has already been said, we hardly created any chances at all and only really had that one clear chance of Wood's. Didn't look like scoring to me. Same old story this season.

As many of us said last week, time to ........ ATTTTTTTACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We are losing anyway. Would rather see us lose 4-2 than 2-0 any day of the week.

You idiot.

Agreed Torchy, just like the idiots who up until a few months ago would have nothing bad said about SISU, highlighting their £30m 'investment' as a sign of their committment to CCFC....we had 'idiots' like HalftimeOrange, Astradyne....oh, and you.....so I think it's a case of people in greenhouses shouldn't be throwing things, eh, old chap?

The fact is that under Thorn we have won 2 in 22 this season....there is NO manager in all 4 divisions with that shit a record in the last 22 games.

He hasn't got a clue what he is doing, his tactics are inept, and we were dire on Saturday....oh, no we weren't, we were 'unlucky'.

Yes, he has little to work with, but AT decided to buy 2 keepers in the Summer, and let Quirke go, and then he bought in Cody MacDonald...who has made no impression at all.

I see little of what they do in training...regardless of what can or cannot bring in, first and foremost he has to get more out what he has got...do you see that he has done that? Do you see any hint of what they do in training? Do you see the lads coming out for the 2nd half fired up?

No, and up until a couple of months ago, Torchy, you were like SISU's bitch having nothing bad said about them...shall I post some comments made on the CET forum in case you have a selective memory????

What was his user name on telegraph site?

Same as here...and up until the forum;s demise, he (and the other two mentioned) would vehermently defend SISU. They claimed £20m had been spent, described them as 'saviours' etc....and when some hinted that all was not right with SISU, they were branded 'anti-CCFC/Villa or Leicester fans' etc...

Consquently, I was shocked to read on this site that Torchomatic had suddenly seen the light....

Can't have been any more pro SISU than Godiva on here and GMK? Very patronising and condescending to anyone that dare question how they were running the club..more blind to the alternative view than any anti-sisu fan...got the impression he felt fans that didn't 'get it' were clueless. Very quiet of late and certainly not as outspoken in his support for them apart from thinking Brody's text idea and us clubbing together to buy players were great ideas-He said at the start of the season he had no worries about us staying up and I'd be interested to know if he still feels the same...
