Asante was pants against Milwall. Haji, JDS, Rudoni and Torp all looked class when they came on. BTA was on longer so did not have the advantage of playing against a tiring opposition. However, Millwall are the type of team that did not give us and time on the ball and were tackling fiercely. BTA looked as if he could not hold them off.

BTA is an OK option but definitely has a poor first touch and his vision is frustrating especially choosing to run in to 3 players then wondering how he got dispossessed... But it is what it is he's a limited player that will do an ok job for us.

To be honest, I think even with last night BTA has done enough to keep the spot for now.

With him cutting more inside, we seem to be much more direct and fluid in our approach. Just compare our game vs hull and QPR.

Also helps Wright often drops deeper to allow more space for BTA (which I think was a problem against Millwall).

I mean he’s on 2 goals and one assist in two league matches. Has to keep his spot atm

Looked a pretty round peg in the last 2 league games to me.

Having said that, I'd love another LW option so there's no risk of Haji going wider if EMC misses games
He's a square peg that fits in a round hole at the moment.

Doing a job but a bit wobbly and not something you'd want to have in there permanently.
