His semi-decent spell last year came when we were playing two up front, in the 5-3-2 formation. He should never be a lone striker/target player as he cannot hold the ball at all…it just bounces off him
What I didn't get is, that for a supposed, strong, physical player, he didn't half get out-muscled a lot yesterday.

I know what will sort it!Still haven’t fixed the problems from last season, all you you have to do is sit deep and let us have the ball, we can’t break teams down, guarantee if we’d of gone a goal down yesterday we’d of come out and played a bit more, it’s like we’re too safe all the time, saka and EMC just went backwards all the time,

We just looked better defensively all round for having a competent goalkeeper. A quality centre half would elevate further, but that was positive.One positive out of the game.

There's been plenty of small, muscular forwards throughout history, who offer/offered more physicality. Or that can at least stay on their feet.
