The fifteenth game was 3-2 v Peterborough. Fifteen games left. We've got to at least match our best run of form in decades to stay up.

I feel likes there's a depth to your question I don't understand. (Tony Mowbray)

Great stato post KG. The writing is on the wall.

Ain't no point holding onto hope, there's no way we can go on that sort of run these players/manager!!

Got to win our home games think we have 9 left so have to win 8 and an away match, tall order for anyone even taller for the worst team on the division despite Slades recent signings most of whom proving to be no better than what we have or had

So you are saying that even if we play as well as we did last year in the first 16 games we can still get relegated... fooking depressing or what.

We're down, no two ways about it.

And as for that clown, picking the wrong players took us from that position into freefall. Imagine having a winning lottery ticket and somehow managing to throw it in the bin on the way to collect your millions.

Personally I think 46/47 points might keep us up at a pinch, so it's not quite as bleak as that.

Still, it does not look promising.

What's your point? Both him and Armstrong are too good for this league, hence the reason we finished 8th last (we should've finished top 6 easily). Who is to blame for not finishing top 6?

They were never going to come back. And TM tried to get players of the same calibre to come here during the summer but why should they when they are better than League 1.

Who do you blame for our poor summer recruitment?

I think what some people are forgetting here, is that the teams around us (or actually above us!), need to lose all or most of their remaining matches to give us any sort of chance!

Not sure about the maths there HH - at the current rate, we'll need 47 points to stay up, that's 25 from 15 games. It may be that we need more than 47 or maybe we'll need less. But it doesn't change the equation - we need a hell of a barnstorming run. Will we do that with Yak, Richardson and Jones tearing up the division? Maybe......but I'm not holding my breath.

Fuck it...I'm hanging my colours to the mask and saying we can do it!!
I reckon we will win at least 7 home games from here on in and I also think we will win 2 from MK Dons, Shrew's or Bury.
Basing that on Beavon, Yak and JJ having a storming end to the season. The momentum we will pick up from winning the next 2 at home, will carry forward.

Sick of feeling defeatist!!

So you don't think there are any mitigating circumstances.?
Such as reduced budget, timing of release of budget.
Possibly the expectation to Sell 8K -10K of St's?
Yes there were mitigating circumstances in which our budget was probably mid table rather than top 8.

TM and MV both targeted players that would never join us in a month of Sundays.

Why are Fleetwood top 6? Why are Rochdale and Southend pushing top 6? They surely haven't got bigger budgets than us...
