My theory on phoning in sick over the years has changed a lot , when I was younger I'd always go in unless it was sickness and diarrhoea . Colds, chest infections, knackered back did more harm to myself and essentially you are just a number. If I feel a bit ropey I'll have a day offYou owe it to yourself to go on the sick, and find something less stressful. Fuck the job, what happens when you work yourself into an early grave? You'll be replaced within a day and forgotten by the end of the month, just like the rest of us.
