Johanna Konta, the media call her Yo-hana. Any other walk of life it would be Jo-anna, but no.

There is a J in your name, use it.

J is pronounced as Y in many languages. She's Hungarian by parentage and in Hungarian it is pronounced as Y.

Nah, you're wrong, it's of Mexican origin and the Spanish pronunciation isn't a hard J more of soft H.

Here's one, and it is part of my favourite passtime.

When people try and lead onto things in conversation to get you to ask them something.

"Yeah, it was all because of this weekend"
"everything was about this weekend"
"she phoned me and said about the weekend"

I never ask about the weekend, I make a point not to. Same applies to "i cant wait..."

That's what I am saying. I haven't seen it, but I can see there is already a post up about it this morning.

It may not say anything, but I dare not click on it for fear of revelation.

Using 'recreate' as a verb.
As in "It's a nice day, let's go to the park and recreate".
Recreation should be a noun only.

Along similar lines, someone signing off with 'rant over' or 'just saying' as if they're bringing the hard truth.

whining middle management white collar folk who are so insulated in their fluffy public sector bubble......they can't get their head around the fact that "private sector" means every other fucker.........not just the super rich pin-stripped bowler hat wearing double-barrels......

.....so take your 30 days paid holiday, sick pay, annual pay increment, employers 16% gold -plated pension contribution & your lackadaisical work ethic & shove it up yer hole.....
