Vernon Kay. The bloke has caused me ire for a long time. A smug and charmless bastard.
A classic example from the cardboard cut out school of presenting.
Recently claimed the Cocteau Twins were from Bolton before later acknowledging his error.
I’ll informed twat.

Yeah but she's retired now??
Anyway where are the Cocteau twins from and more pertinently are they twin's?

The sky blues fan casters and Lorna hosting . Sky blue tinted glasses and literally clueless the majority of them. I listened to Middlesborough 's equivalent the other day after they lost to Portsmouth, the fancaster they have is unbelievable, she even attends the games and talks after. Straight talking and very knowledgeable, if only we had one of them

People in particular politicians who make a “mis-step”.
Just admit it, you made a mistake!

Which reminds me of people who say they 'stepped foot' instead of set foot.
Ugh.

I've also noticed a few people lately who say 'leafs' instead of leaves (as in tree/plant leaves). I heard one say it and I now keep hearing others.
I just wish they'd leaf the building

Right having just broached a subject on another thread it has set my mind off.
Given the debate around capitalism and ticket price's for kid's how about we send an invoice to the club or even the Government on the wider issue of inflated costs of doing anything at all.
Cost of turning up cost of nutrition, cost of maintaining your health cost of attending over other activities like for instance work, cost of being available at anytime, etc etc?
Goer isn't it?

The reduced aisle that's always stacked with Vegan shite.

Ironic that it goes to waste as it's all based around saving the planet.

No it isn't aimed at that, vegan processed food has a high profit margin.
What's more plant food is much less nutritionally dense than meat or fish.

Calling the ground the floor.
When did that become a thing?
It's not even difficult. Outside = ground. Inside = floor.

Sat in a well known opticians whose name begins with "S" yesterday waiting to be seen.A older gentleman pulled up outside on a mobiilty scooter He struggled to make his way to the counter on getting there he asked for olive oil for ears.Got out his money to pay only to be told he needed a card.Out he went without said olive oil. I do hope he managed to purchase it at the shop next door where he would have got it cheaper and they do take cash.Comes to something when cash of the realm cannot buy what you want.

No I mean at places like Subway and McDonald's etc. Paper bags too... so recyclable ffs if you order on Subway app it forces you into one too even if you eat in. It's all a revenue con.

Definitely a bit of cheeky profiteering going on. Think it’s the co op that charge 20p for compostable bags, again flying in the face of the purpose the charge was brought in.

Think it's something cyclycle, fairly sure Tesco's used to charge for them back in the 70's obviously for a different reason and only a few pence.

I can't have been the only one expecting a punchline at the end of this story?
