Depressing isn't it. Highly intrusive that your bank is monitoring what you spend and basing a measurement on a complete load of bollocks too. I use cash as much as possible.

I've certainly realised that we Humans are just providing a harvest to our master's and the the technology we're implementing is to pen us all in.
I just wonder what do we actually make/produce,not much is the answer I guess it was ever thus before in a certain way but not as extreme as it's becoming.it will only become worse it won't matter which party runs it

Without wanting to dust off the tin foil hat, how long before those in power decide we're the carbon they want to reduce?

Working away. Generally I enjoy it and consider myself lucky, it's an interesting part of the job, but it's a strain after 2 weeks and minor things like cultural differences start to grate. My normally healthy diet goes to shit having to eat out every day as well and I have too much beer which is my own fault, no-one's forcing me to, but when you all sit down at the end of the day and it's on company dime it's hard not to have at least a couple.

Just end up a bit run down and sluggish (although today might be partly because I stayed up until midnight watching the game last night...)

The imported tipping culture in the UK. Got prompted to tip on a £7.50 beer that I ordered and paid for at the bar. WTF?!

Stoke barely counts as Midlands in my book, don’t think the locals really know what they count as either

Ditto.

Plus, staying away on your own. What is there to do other than drink?

Whenever I'm away I'm generally solo, also the company picks up the tab. I normally pocket teas and hot chocolate to take home though!

Is this a more recent thing? The last few times I’ve been to the cinema there have been people chatting a lot.
When did this become acceptable?

The problem is what do you do when you’re going to a dry (or dryish) country?

I’ll be in Bangladesh next week and the only chance I have for a beer is going to a country club with a Major in the Bangladeshi army

Staying in hotels now the cost of a cooked breakfast is ridiculous, pushes nearly £20 in some places. So go for the all you can eat and take them to the cleaners I say

Only problem with this is the food is often cold - got to keep an Eye on the transitions of the food holders - as soon as a fresh one is out and hot get there and fill your face - I mean even Frank said transitions are important on Saturday

Vernon Kay. The bloke has caused me ire for a long time. A smug and charmless bastard.
A classic example from the cardboard cut out school of presenting.
Recently claimed the Cocteau Twins were from Bolton before later acknowledging his error.
I’ll informed twat.
