I had a meeting involving our HR Business Partner recently, and it was quite refreshing to hear her say that they fully support a hybrid working pattern, wherever it can be accommodated. The ludicrous arguments work are coming up with as to why we should have to go into the office.

What research has been done on this shows that hybrid is the best of both worlds. I suspect the simpler reason is wanting to hold the office space and justify continued spending on it.Yeah that’s our company’s (and my contract’s) position. But they want people in more without saying you have to be in and just keep repeating “being in the office is good. Collaboration is good” except in office days I do the least collaborating because my team is spread around the country (and in one case another country) so I’m just sat somewhere I can’t find anywhere quiet to sit and talk to my team.

There was talk just after the viral unfortunateness that they might lease off Uni House, but Stuart didn't want to lose his empire! What research has been done on this shows that hybrid is the best of both worlds. My company is obsessed with people being in the office. It is by far the least efficient company I've ever worked for.The ludicrous arguments work are coming up with as to why we should have to go into the office.

These two things are definitely linked.
It's like Ben's branded stuff at ASDA which I'm fast turning off,3bays of the stuff then 1 row borrowed for different branded healthy pulse's, Beans etc less in price and at the top.The Aldi near me selling flavours of things nobody likes and then passive aggressively stacking them in front of the reduced number of ones people want. You then have people knocking over the crap ones to get at the decent ones.
Surely someone at the shop can take the hint and report up that one just isn’t selling?
Speaking of beans, switched from Heinz to Branston’s and not regretted itIt's like Ben's branded stuff at ASDA which I'm fast turning off,3bays of the stuff then 1 row borrowed for different branded healthy pulse's, Beans etc less in price and at the top.
Yep. Our baked bean of choice!Speaking of beans, switched from Heinz to Branston’s and not regretted it
The king of beans. Been (no pun intended) on them for years. Far superior. Richer sauce. Beans means Branston in my house!Speaking of beans, switched from Heinz to Branston’s and not regretted it
The ones with sausages in are sensational. The king of beans. Been (no pun intended) on them for years. Far superior. Richer sauce. Beans means Branston in my house!

In fairness, I will revert back to heinz for the ones with Richmond sausages in. But just straight up beans its Branston all the way!The ones with sausages in are sensational.
We started watching that. Turned off after about 30 minutes. For such a stellar cast, the acting was proper "am-dram" standard! Was loaned the book to read by a colleague but haven't got round to it. Will hand it back unread! Film put me off totally!Films/Series of books that are nothing like your idea of character! Just ruins it!
Im saying this because I've just watched The Thursday Murder Club and at least 5 of the characters were all wrong for me!
For a start, how Ray Winston wasn't cast as Ron Richie is criminal!

Yeah but it's classed as growth of a sort,so it's ok,go figure! A multi national company making money over here and taking the profit overseas, and wanting to pay no tax on it!Trying to get tickets for major gigs. Just tried to get Florence + The Machine tickets for my wife and sister-in-law, I was put in a queue with 6000 people in front of me and got in 15 minutes later. Six seats available dotted across the venue, ranging from £95 to £218. When I tried to select two seats together, it kept telling me that they were no longer available. Functionally sold out not even 20 minutes after going on sale, and I would bet the mortgage that the second the sell-out is announced a sizeable portion will be listed on Ticketmaster's resale site. It's a fucking racket and nobody knows how to fix it.
