Yeah pretty much. There’s one of mine who creates clickbait about his mental health and crying on the floor and then the next day is more or less abusing people.

This shit

Ugly fucking shop fronts. Why do they do this? Who thinks this looks good?

Walked up to Fargo today and one of them had ugly faded images of watermelons next to actual fucking watermelons. You don’t need images of fruit, the fruit is right there and looks ten times better!

And always with some stupid ass name like “Dubai Bargains” or “Heaven on Earth”. The one on Albany Road looks massively out of place in Earlsdon and when you get a row of them like Far Gosford it just looks like a shanty town.

I fail to believe these shop keepers are actively trying to keep out customers but that’s how it comes across, and where do they all buy the same shit ugly signage from? Is it like traveller fairground rides all having 80s art cos they’re all sold between them and nothing new is made? What is this all about? Why does no one take them aside and explain their shop is fucking disgusting and actively warding off customers?

The real life equivalent of a Y7 PowerPoint stuffed with word art bad animations and pixelated images in the wrong aspect ratio.

Would wholeheartedly support extra tax on ugly shops.

It's like the front of Walgrave rd just by the lights, there's a place there that has taken 80% of the pavement, reduced it to 2persons width but in reality it's one as there's someone sitting on the barrier you often have to end up waiting, they overstep the size of the footprint of the place,Eyesite which used to be nextdoor has gone so they use the redundant place to store stuff, the friends of Walgrave or whatever they're called was bragging recently that they managed to get to enormous, well in my mind litter boxes placed adjacent about 3M away, clay lane someone's opened a shop they've taken 50% of the pavement, it's progress I guess.

Watching the absolute facade of world boxing pretending to love the "Excellency" and pretending that the Saudi's are doing it for the "fans" when all of our promoters and boxers are just doing it for the money (and fair play to them) whilst the rest of us are watch it thinking what a bunch of cunts!

Teachers/schools again.

My stepdaughter catching a fair bit of colour on her face, but multiple other students burnt and not allowed inside on sports day or in their bags for water/sun cream.

Absolute cunts and if I went down there, there would be some smug c**t who I'd knock out and be arrested.

Convinced schools are more sadistic now than when I was at school, which is ironic as the amount of little wankers being churned out.

Bunch of nonces.

Planning law in the UK can't do much about it unless it's a designated conservation area (luckily my local high street is). You could argue that everywhere has at some point had a character worthy of conservation mind you.

No I know. Same as ugly paint jobs on skyscrapers. I just don’t get why they ALL make them look like that. It’s a whole level beyond the standard corner shop with fag ads all over. It’s a specific aesthetic they’re all clearly aiming for. I would just love to know why.

The insane amount of adverts of Amazon Prime. At least on sky you can fast forward the adverts.

At the point where I'm going to not watch stuff because the ad breaks are too annoying.

I tend to watch Youtube a lot and the advert proliferation over the past couple of years is ridiculous. I used to be able to skip most after 5 seconds, and gradually they have been phased out and 40 second non skippable drivel is becoming the norm and then 60 seconds into whatever I'm watching the next non skippable advert starts.

YouTube is shit because there is no thought as to where the adverts go, it will just be on a random timer. You'll be watching a concert video and halfway through a song its suddenly adverts.

Thing is neither YouTube or Amazon have anything that would make me won't to pay so I just stop watching stuff.

I notice they’ve started pushing the ad free service for a few quod extra a month. Always the same racket, start ad free then ratchet them up until they’re intolerable then offer a paid way out.

you've missed the point - it's about how companies in the west make money now. No real innovation.

I’m sorry were saying the land of IP fraud is home of innovation now? Globoplayer, iQIYI, etc all do the same stuff.

SK just introduced a law to deal with dark patterns because of it: Get Ahead of South Korea’s New Subscription Rules: Key Takeaways for App Developers

Can you explain how that's anything to do with how YouTube operates? It has degraded its free service to try and force people to subscribe.

We moan about ticketmaster but I've never had this problem buy tickets at the CBS. Purchased tickets this morning for an event, order completed and payment taken.

Order history shows the order but no seat allocated. After an age on the phone manage to get through to be told 'it does that sometimes' and that the event is now sold out.

Then got told I'd get a refund less the booking fee!!! Lets just say I didn't take that very well.

Do you know what Globoplayer and iQIYI are? They’re the Brazilian and Chinese versions of YouTube and operate in the exact same way.

Now put the racism pipe down. This is shitty business practice not “the west”.
