During covid I was in Sainsbury's. Done a huge shop as we tried to do as much in 1 trip to save going out again. Little old dear behind me has a basket with bread, milk and eggs. I asked her is that was all she had and she replied yes. So I told her she'd be best off finding another conveyor belt as I had loads and would be ages!Politely.
I told her I also had only 1 item so she would have to wait in line.
Although her Husband glared at me menacingly.
Her item was a tiny box mine was a 2XL shirt.

This sums up our luck, me wife got talking to a builder through work she told him our issues he said I'll come and have a look he emailed over some photos of work he's done and fair play it all looked outstanding , he had a look last night told us everything we needed to do and what he could could do. I thought happy days and asked him when we could start he said i don't work anymore I've retired .The house renovation is getting on me nerves, plumber done his first fix , we told him we wanted our main bathroom to be a wetroom but hadnt decided on what type of shower and units we wanted as we were dealing two bereavements and a break in and further building work and plasterers etc. We told him that we were ready for the bathroom to be fitted and explained that we wanted a concealed shower and but hes told us we have to have an exposed shower as he's already but the pipes in the bathroom. He then told us he wont fit a gully for the wetroom and the tiler needs to do it as the tiler can then fit the gully and concrete the floor before he tiles So if we want a concealed shower he has to come back chop the pipe work in and put elbows on the pipes then we will have to rebaord and plaster the back wall where the pipes are . I have no clue but feel hes done the pipes to make things easier for himself. I wanted to be for July
In the cold light of day i should of got one company in to do the whole bathroom refit rather then get different people in to do jobs
Was looking forward to this part of the renovation as its just that and the kitchen to fit and we are all done,
