It's in case the Martians invade. They'll all die from it and the world will be saved.

Thing is, everyone who used to wear were called a nonce.

Now it's "younger" people wearing them with the white sports socks. Genuinely can't get my head around it, they look gopping.

Pets again, absolute heart breakers.

7 month old kitten went in to be spayed and her heart stopped when she received the anaesthetic.

They've revived her but she's basically got 48 hours to improve or she'll have to be put to sleep.

1 in 10,000 chance apparently of this happening and I've already lost a 20 month pup and a 6 month old Bengal to birth defects/issues

See also mullets and what I’d call a pedo tash. Or that fucking ugly fringe haircut on women:

I was over in London last week and thought I’d stepped into some kind of time warp to the 1980s.

Think it's students trying to be all edgy inspired by Stranger Things.

It's the ones who wear hideously baggy jeans and white trainers that look like you've played football in the playground for a year with them. These are girls too, not just the lads.

Awful. We lost a young cat years ago with something similar, just found him in the pathway outside our back gate.

We always had cats growing up and I love them but having lost a few early to not nice circumstances, I’d rather not have them at this point.

Bobble hats in the stadium. OK outside, but having the extra height of the bobble in the row in front blocks the pitch view.
Come on Doug, get them banned.

I quickly had a look at woolly insole ones in the tat aisle in Aldi. The Mrs threw me a hateful glance and I’ll be grateful for life that she did so.

Even though she wears them sometimes. Think they’re more accepted on women.

The idiot at channel 4 who decided it was a good idea to give the oxygen thief Katie Price a series about her going through IVF to have another baby, I hope all the money she earns is going to pay off her massive debts to HMRC & any others!

Social services should be blocking everything and anything. Same as if she tried to get more animals

Made the difficult decision today to put her to sleep. Would have potentially been deaf, blind and unable to move for the rest of her life, she had about a 2% chance of recovery on Thursday and was getting less and less every day.

Only saving grace is she was basically in a state of being unaware and I got this picture of her being Lola's pillow the night before her Op.

How she hasn't been sent to prison is beyond me.

I swear when you file for Bankruptcy you're at risk of being charged with fraud if you didn't show intent of paying debts back?

Hopefully TikTok being banned will help the planet heal in some capacity, although "YouTubers" can still prevail.

As much as I'm grateful as to the care the Kitten had over the last few days, we got quoted £183 to have her cremated and ashes returned etc, but then paid £220 at the desk minutes after seeing her put to sleep. No mention of VAT prior, plus these quotes were all before and she's still alive on the table in front of us. It's all thrust on you whilst you're still trying to wrap your head around the best thing to do.

Found it quite ironic as I'm not sure who could claim VAT back on having your pet cremated.

I also have a suspicion she was overdosed, as everything following was F.O.C including her care at an overnight Vets, because the Vet that she was originally at doesn't have 24 hour care. However, we could never prove it without paying for a post mortem or blood test etc I imagine.

When BBC web sites I open suggest I use the Sounds App and the nag only has a 'Maybe later' link to dismiss it instead of a 'Fuck Off forever more' option.

When twitter keep offering to connect me with contacts, join groups or pay for premium access and I only have a 'See less often' option rather than 'I will never be interested in your attempt to steal more of my data' button.

etc. etc..

Parking at the station. Went to London this weekend, ahead of the trip I googled parking at the station and it came up as £5.50 per day so figured it wasn't worth the cost of a cab and might as well park there.

Got to the station, the first 5 floors of the car park are disabled parking only, the total number of cars in single digits. Parked on the 7th floor.

Then when I got back from London and went to pay the charge was over £20. No staff to query it with obviously so just had to pay. Went to get the lift to the 7th floor, out of service. Then when I went to leave the car park the barrier is permanently up anyway so no need to pay at all!

Queried this today and apparently the station car park is not that big red multi story that all the road signs direct you to, is attached to the station and has Coventry Station on it. The station car parks are one that's hidden away with zero sign posts and only accessible via Stoney Road and a small part of the car park at central six, also with zero sign posts.

The speed at which the council replied with a very long email explaining this, complete with car park photos, suggests this is a very common problem. You'd think in that case they'd do something to make it clearer wouldn't you?

The smaller one to the left of the station and you walk through by Marks and Spencers isn't it?
