The little corner on a packet of bacon or other chilled meat that’s supposed to let you peel the film of easily but just tears off or doesn’t work at all , so you have to slice it a knife ..why bother if it never works

Agree entirely. It shouldn't be beyond the wit of packaging designers to make the film stronger than the glue!

I had one from Lidl that actually worked, felt like I actually won the lottery

On a side note, everyone stacks the slices opposite to the "easy-peel"

I don't work in IT but did some software procurement a few years ago as part of a wider programme of work. The cretins running the programme tried to impose agile project management methodology on everything, it was a farce.

Stand ups, retros etc, all necessary to engage often introverted developers but meant nothing to me. Asking me what I'm doing in my next sprint

Devs hate it too. It’s not for them. It’s for management who can’t handle the idea of letting talented people get on with it or that building things sometimes takes a while.

“Can I get…” instead of “can I have…”

Fuck you if you use the former when ordering things.

I must admit I absolutely hate Man U after that semi final. Unlike many people who always hated them I never did prior to that .I admired Fergie and the team that he built in the 1990s.
I also despise their day tripping fans.

I understand the frustration, but I tend to find that developers do exactly what you ask them to.
Not what you want them to.

Regular catch ups are vital, not for the implementers of the requirements ,but for the authors.

Any good dev should be skilled at extracting requirements TBF. I find the multiple layers of non technical users like ADLs and PMs scrum adds between devs and users makes that harder personally. My best work has been me and a customer and not a Project Manager in sight.

If you’re working with SEOs being taught how to do SEO by a developer then there’s something majorly wrong with the hiring process.

Greek food is under rated. We use the stock from cooking lemon chicken thighs.and potatoes to do our pasta in. Lovely cold on a day like today.... I'm hungry now!

Olympic diver Noah Williams being interviewed on the radio this morning said "I haven't really seen my parents much slash at all since i got back". The oblique stroke (or slash in modern parlance) is a punctuation mark to replace the word "or" in written texts. If you mean "or"when you are speaking, use the word rather than the name of the punctuation mark - exclamation mark (oops, i mean !).
Annoyed!

Rylan's face says it all and puts his point across perfectly. Your woman there is all over the place making this sound a sensible idea.

People talking in the cinema.
I’ve been twice in the last couple of weeks and both times there were people talking to each other pretty much throughout.
At least eventually tonight someone had a word. Really annoying!
Not least because you can’t identify who it is unless you’re sat close to them!

Last time I went cinema was for Avengers: End Game, both people beside me (although one was the person I went with) crying near the end, not as if they just witnessed Dabo sky a penalty at Wembley or anything.

I remember watching the latest Guardians of the Galaxy, which I enjoyed but thinking how can anyone get emotional about this.
Only to turn to my left and see my 21 year old in absolute bits.
“IT AINT DABO”!!! I shouted.

I once mistakenly visited a cinema during one of those "mother and baby" sessions, it was a new thing at the time. Mind you, you could here a pin drop while Winnie the Pooh was on and I'd have been lynched if I'd made a sound. Never been back since.
