I've just got a new pixel but only realised when I went to plug my earphones in that there was no jack. I've got some cheap Bluetooth ones but the sound quality isn't great and I don't think they fit well. Like for like the cost of an good pair of wired earphones is much less than some good Bluetooth ones.

I've got the Pixel Buds, there was an offer on to get them free.

The noise cancellation is amazing as well as the quality, I just worry they are going to fall out.

I might get some of those, was looking at some reviews the other day. I'm not paying £100 plus so will most likely get the A-Series ones. I got a £50 amazon voucher from work recently so can put that towards it.

When did you buy the phone? I think I used this link - Pixel 7 Pro

Yeah I'd never have paid that amount either.

Only last week so out of time for that offer. £84 on Amazon for the A Series so £34 in total. Will see how they go.

It's a bit late for you (so I'm about to do an annoying thing) but lots of retailers were offering free Google earphones when buying a Pixel not so long ago, quality's decent on them.

Anyway, in a Pixel theme, why can't I see my screen in the sun? That's annoying when I bought it partly due the camera but I can't see what I'm taking photos of!

What do I need to buy to help me see my screen?!?

Scummy tramps sticking chewing gum on benches. Then I sit on it.
Any ideas how to get it off my shorts?

Stick them in the freezer and then when they’re frozen pick or scrape it off.

TIP: Best to take them off first!

An alternative would be to immerse yourself in liquid nitrogen, but that not end well!

I'm on a pixel 7, my screen seems OK in the sun. What are your settings like?

Credit card fraud.

Got a text from Nationwide saying there'd been suspicious activity and ring the number below which I thought looked suspicious in itself. Rang the number off their website and sure enough, reams of attempted payments off various devices in various locations worldwide in the last day. Luckily none of the payments actually went through but it means a blocked card, no ApplePay, waiting for a new one etc.

Everyone using the term "AI" constantly-to a disturbing extent-in the last few weeks, when for the previous years, the word "computers" was fine. It's hard to think of a better case of mass-programming!

Also, what exactly has happened with AI that we're not being told? Why do we all suddenly need new job training ready for next year when we are unemployed?

Everyone pretentiously saying "Tottenham" these days instead of Spurs. Something else that sounds like AI..

It does seem to be a case of the emperor's new clothes. ChatBots are described as AI.

Bazball. Well that was a load of nonsense, wasn't it? They should be getting Boycott, Gooch and Atherton in to teach some defensive technique ASAP.

Why does everyone now use the term "double digits" when it has always been "double figures" - f*cking Americanisms!

The very term "bazball" gets on my tits. Where did it come from???
And the Beeb saying that this is "the most eagerly anticipated Ashes series in a generation" - horseshit!

Would you believe, it has an extensive Wikipedia already: Bazball - Wikipedia

I wouldn't worry about the BBC bit so much, they do that every time we play them.

Didn't know McCullum's nickname is Baz - that might have helped!!!

The Beeb are always promoting to the skies anything they have any broadcast rights to, aren't they?

My friend at work has had this happen to him so they said we will send you a new card and added it to his Apple Pay before the card arrived money started to get taken again.

..declaring on the first day of a Test Match 8 wickets down, just because you want to have a few overs at the opposition openers.

They are two different things: A computer and artificial intelligence that runs on a computer.

What’s happened is a major major breakthrough in AI. Arguably the biggest tech innovation since the creation of the internet. Stuff we didn’t think we’d see for decades.

I think it’s more accurate to say AI is being described as chatbots.

Exactly what, though? Nobody's even attempted to explain it to the masses.
