The biggest scandal is the nhs compensation budget
2.5 billion a year would pay for around 50000 extra nurses

They have a provision of £128 billion for claims that may arise
£1800 for every man woman and child

I’m guessing a lot of incompetent surgeons, consultants, nurse, care organizations contracted to the NHS, need to pull their socks up? There’s a fair chance 50k extra nurses would add to the incompetence. All businesses have to mitigate against failures/ errors. I guess the NHS is such a big organization that this cost is inevitable.

More spent on them so the good ones are encouraged to stay would help competence too, of course.

As would more nurses, so the new ones had more ability to be trained better, without having to be thrown in in desperation.

Waking up to fraudulent activity. Some tramp orders £52 worth of chicken and chips at 2.30 in the morning! Uber Eats are fucking useless. I best get the money back

It‘s an eye opener when you see more agency staff than employees. I’ve also feel that the degree qualified nurses are no ’stronger’ in terms of the care that people need.

Micah Richards claiming that the WC Final was the best game of football he has "ever seen".
Bullshit - it was topsy-turvy and there were some good goals, but not as good as the BBC are making out (in my opinion).

I thought it was really dull until Mbappe’s 2nd goal…81st minute?
Then it was incredible Tbf.

I thought the world cup as a whole was good but the punditry on both ITV and BBC was appalling and annoying

I thought it was pretty exciting in the first half when Di Maria was bossing the game (even though i hate the way he dived for his pen). Definite mistake taking him off so soon.

Get used to it, that's the level of punditry we're at now unfortunately. If you let it put you off the football I think you'll find most football unenjoyable from here on.

Epic Games. They introduced some measures to secure child accounts. Best intentions but caused me a right headache trying to get all my lads purchased content back.

I’m not sure I see your point - tabloid coverage of Fergie was indefensible at times and so is their coverage of Meghan.

Hmm, this kind of thing could swing me towards standing up for them a bit(!)

I'm guessing from the typeface that is from the Daily Mail? But FFS who thinks like that about anyone (maybe unless it is an ex-partner or someone who has murdered your entire family)?

The Sun, apparently. The author's daughter stands against everything they've written, apparently. Not surprised!

Even playing it off as some kind of edgy joke, it's a deeply weird thing to put in a column.

The level of hate is weird, but it’s obviously a GoT reference, no?

Jeremy Clarkson who wrote that. It's exactly the cheap kind of crap that he would spout on top gear for years. Nothing more then him playing the bellend. Again.

He's been my guilty pleasure, in that I find him vaguely amusing and pithy. Crosses the line more and more the older and crotchier he gets mind you!

Doesn't really matter, it's a shitty thing to stick in public, in a whole column about how she shags her way to manipulating the poor royal, and is a hateful person who goes around causing trouble for the evil royals.

Surely people aren't trying to defend that?

Who knows how it would have panned out but apart from the Argy goalie ,the absence of Giroud and Griezman as takers?

Well if you didn't know the reference you'd think he was psychotic. As it is, it's just extremely weird (and not even the most intense part of what he wrote!)

Oh yeah.
Had a Citroen Zantia that was awful for that.
It's the anticipation that's the worst isn't it.

Edit:- having said that growing up in the stick's and helping on a farm the electric fence was irresistible.

Fucking Yodel. Driver has had his GPS off all day then claims when it’s time to deliver my package he can’t access the property. The property that’s on a public road that you can walk to the front door from.

Now got to wait until tomorrow. How do they manage to consistently hire absolute chucklefucks and not insist on tracking their drivers?
