Who here used to watch the cartoon Scooby Doo?

Well sad to say that the voice behind Shaggy with famous phrases like: 'Zooinks' and 'Scooby Doo where are you' has passed away this pass weekend.

His was Casey Kasem and he was also a radio presenter who'd presented the American Top 40.

Casey thank you for the great memories that your voice provided for the Scooby Doo cartoon show.

And I'll do what you normally say at the end of your shows.

'Keep your feet on the ground and reach for the stars'.

RIP Casey.

The only way i knew it was him was cus Bo Selecta did a sketch based on him in their US Series. Cant say i heard of any of his other work but thats another idol of my childhood gone. They're dropping like flies. RIP Casey

Scooby bloody Doo was always my most HATED "cartoon". I say "cartoon", but through gritted teeth! It was poorly drawn, badly animated and the so-called story-lines were always the same. So bleedin' predictable! It was nearly always the museum curator wot did it!
Best cartoons ever has gotta be the Tom & Jerry ones! Now THAT was REAL animation!
