Does it stil exist ?

If it does who can get to attend ?

If it is invite only how are people chosen ?

has it been reformed as something else?

as i understood it the following (plus others)were involved

Jonathan Strange - Chairperson London Supporters club - has resigned as Chairperson so no longer on SCG?
JSB representative - is there a JSB area now ?
Singers Corner - its still at the Ricoh the club isnt?
Sky Blue Trust - does the club still talk to them?
Diamond Club - ?

Just wondered if this was another casualty of what is going on. It is at least some sort of link between fans and club

Hi, OSB - its a good question.

Had an email from Dan Walker on the 13th August - which was due to be our next meeting - but it was cancelled because of everything that was going on at the club.

I'll try and answer your questions one at a time:

1. Does it still exist? Yes. But i have no idea how it will work going forward. There are members of the existing group who are going to Northampton, and others that aren't. Normally i think Dan would welcome fans onto the group who don't attend matches regularly to try and udnerstand ways to re-engage - the problem at the moment of course is that fans won't attend, as opposed to can't attend.

2. If it does who can attend? Well the members of the group, but as mentioned above Dan was keen to expand the group before all this happened. I imagine he's still keen for that to happen. Personally i think fresh faces can only be helpful, and i would absolutely love you to attend given the wealth of knowledge you have on the current situation. I think some probing questioning would be most welcome. Although i would emphasise that the main purpose of the group is to do all those things i've listed before - improve fan engagement, matchday experience, etc, etc. Its not supposed to be about the running of the club, but its been very difficult to talk about much else recently.

3. Has it been reformed as something else? No. But we haven't met since we moved so i imagine we'll know more about how it might work when we do.

4. Members. Jon Strange is right and even though he's now resigned from CCFCLSC, he's still a fantastic person to have around. Also people from the following groups:
JSBs, Disabled, Diamond Club, Vice Presidents Club, Block 15, Sky Blue Trust, Premier Club, Away Fans. Jim Brown is on it and there are a few others but i can't remember what cross-section of fans they cover. Plus myself who got involved because i had an idea about a matchday card and then got asked back. I've kind of tried to turn myself into some sort of link between this forum and the group - hence my attempts to come on here every couple of months to ask for questions i can take to the group. i also try and report back after every meeting.

I'm with you in terms of it being a link between the fans and club the still exists, and i think it needs to remain for that reason. Relationships are so low that anything we can do to keep up the communication can only be positive. It would be a real shame if it became a casualty - but i think the club appreciate the link as much as the fans do.

Sorry, just realised i missed out this question.

Is it invite only how are people chosen? The people in the group have been members for years, not sure how they went about inviting them to join, i'll see if i can find out for you. I don't think its a closed group or anything, as i've said above, Dan had big plans for reforming the consultative process, as opposed to that specific group, where by he could engage more people, perhaps with mega fan consultation days, breakout groups, that sort of thing. I think for it to be valuable it would need to remain below a certain size, no point turning it into a forum as you'd lose the consultation element. But i definitely think we should have a wider group to choose from. I'm not sure what your appetite is for attending, but as i said above i think it would be great to get you personally involved.
