We do this convo every few months. The issue is the line between Nuneaton and Cov isn’t capable of more frequent trains without changes.

The changes have been planned for ages and then cancelled as constantly happens with rail in this country. It’s down to central govt not anyone else. The latest plans were put forward last year not sure what the update on that is

Midlands Connect - Nuneaton could see ‘rail revolution’ under plans

If anybody wants a vague idea about how building any kind of rail infrastructure in this country always fucks up, listen to this:

Right with their buildings, rail lines and dams collapsing after building them quickly using substandard materials to fulfill quotas, so that local politicians can look good to the party hierarchy. Yes let’s follow their example.

There is always a way. It isn't like they've got to build an airport on the moon. Just not enough desire to do it, or willingness to spend the money to do it.

An airport on the moon would be quite good actually.

That's kind of the plan and why they had the recent mission. Maybe we can run a shuttle to the CBS from there.

No point bothering with that, we normally just go halves on an Uber. We would actually take the matchday shuttle, but the club insist on you paying for it in both directions so you can’t just take it coming back. Pete raised it and was told ‘it isn’t logistically feasible’ which smells strongly of pure unrefined bollocks.

+1

you can get there boarding at Leamington but more chance of seeing a Simms hat-trick than getting on the train back

They should put a cage around that island to put in all the people that went to watch wasps.

Availability of rolling stock with working toilets might be an issue of course.

Long term we need to move to a ground that isn’t a soulless bowl on the edge of the town centre. The CBS will never be home.

There is already planning permission for a new hotel on Judds Lane. Work was meant to start around now, but not sure if it's delayed or developers have pulled out.

Couldn't the single track that goes to Prologic Park be utilized somehow?

Is the scrap yard/metal recycling going to move, it looks an eyesore for a premier league stadium perspective
