Now that it's settled, I reckon we'll start the transfer comings and goings soon... Robins has never been slow off the blocks.

Shall we keep all the rumours and confirmations on one thread? Maybe make it sticky, Nick?

Who is first through the door? My money is on O'Hare.

Judging by past transfers I couldn’t even guess what Robins has planned but I have 100% faith in who ever he brings in

Good some football

Okay

We need at the minimum:

2xCM - To replace Walsh who is unlikely to resign as Bristol rate him very highly and O'Hare who is more likely to sign but nothing is ceratin
1xLB - To Replace McCallum - I'd like them to loan giles back and at least take a look at him
1xST - Back up to start - Loan from PL

I think we could only really afford to double our wage bill at best and that leaves us fighting an uphill battle from the off.
We do have the luxury of a few of the players playing together for a while now and still not even near their prime so they still could improve, and with some shrewd business could be a real surprise package next season.
Our system is rather unique if we keep using it, it's hard to play against and will stifle some sides I'm sure

Haven't we supposedly already agreed a deal for Gustavo Hamer?

Doesn't count as a done deal until he's photographed holding up the shirt and saying how much he's looking forward to this next exciting stage of his career.

Had a Carl Baker shirt as a kid and all that jazz

Let's be honest the division has changed so much in 8 years even we don't know what is truly required to do well... We have to hope Robins and Viveash are well prepared

McFadz is fine for the central player in a back 3. He's also the only cb we have to play regularly at championship level.

Kelly is the glue that holds the midlfield together

I'm actually in agreement to be honest, fadz can play the sweeper role between the 2 and has a good footballing brain... Could drop an extra 3 or 4 yards and pace then is suddenly irrelevant... I'm more than happy to see Kelly given a chance... But fear a Doyle type situation is on the horizon

Kelly is only 30 so much younger than Doyle was

I don't understand your point? You're comparing a tweet from some random bloke with no source to a report from one of the leading Dutch newpapers.

I know. Don't be cross. My point is only that there's many a slip twixt cup and lip.
