After the spotting of tim Sherwood and Paul dickov I think it's safe to assume they are 2 of the 4 on the Shortlist. With Carsley not on the list, who do you think the other 2 are?

He us not in it. Only 4 are yet the decision was not made before this match like Swindon did.

Paulo left well after Robins as well.

Dickov?

Can't see the attraction at all of him as a candidate.

To be quite honest, with the finances as they are, I don't think we will now get anyone.

Win ratio of 30%. Whoopee!!!!

Unfortunaly, i can see it being Tim Sherwood, Keith Curle, Paul Dickov and Eric Black. All but Curle were at the game and Curles been to 2 already. I want it to be PDC, Carsley, Pressley and Lomas tho

Sherwood is a former player so was probably down for legends day.

Did you just mention Sherwood and Legend in the same sentence? ;) If anything it may have been because of 'former players association' members turning up, but certainly not because it was for 'legends'

God please not Dickov. Oldham fans wanted him sacked well before he actually was.

What is the attraction with Di Canio. He is a knob and will walk out before the end of the season.

He turned around a team around mid-table in League 2 into a top League 1 team. He would demand and get respect from the players and he would stick up for the club and would not be SISU whipping boy. Plus, we'd see a lot of antics in the dugout and we'd get mentioned on Soccer AM a lot more

I don't know anything about pressley I have to be honest. But have noticed a few people on here saying they would pick him above many others. All I can see from his record is he got Falkirk relegated then failed to get them promoted the year after? Why are people so keen?

I've just had a look at one of Falkirk's forums and it is the usual mixed bag about him, many complain about the style of Football being boring and dull, others claim that he has got them to 2 cup semi's on a shoestring budget and with Kids playing whilst his main earners are sold around him (sounds familiar!) But from what I see he doesnt leap off the page as a major candidate!

Oh, somebody said that he cant keep saying to the fans that his team is a major work in progress when he sends his CV to any vacancy going in England!!!

The CT today seems to suggest it is between Black and Pressley, well that's how I seem to readt it anyway.

Over the last two days, I have been told that Phil Parkinson was interviewed last week and that Tim Sherwood watched the game from a box and that the stewards were asked to ensure he was kept private! - I guess both could be true but it doesnt mean they have made it to the last two! - time will tell....

You would have to take your hat off to Waggot if he could get "Jesus Christ" manager.

Not a good choice - he would eliminate a key part of our play.
He don't like crosses.

Why would anybody want to manage this basket case of a club?

Because he's our record holder as a player for "most penalties conceded in a season"? Dunno, I can see no reason whatsoever for wanting Pressley :(
