The club are also up against the fact that the 22-year-old Cov Kid is facing a life-changing increase in wages, which could easily triple, as well as the prospect of retaining an unhappy player once his head has been turned.

Good of the CET to help SiSu with the excuses.......

Not an excuse, FACT! If someone offered to double or treble my hourly rate, I'd be off and so would you if you were honest.

He'd probably be better off staying with us for at least 1 more year but football, agents, money different story.

Taek the cash before his contract runs out, fair enough IMO

Never thought I would ever ever say this but RFC is right

Half right ;)

He's better off moving now. If he's the real deal he'll do it a division higher, and set himself up for the top flight.

If he's a one-season wonder he's got security of more cash... and the ability to slide back to our level anyway.

...and for one brief moment there I thought we would build a team around him.

I did, moved jobs in March, I was offered 2.5 times what I was on at the time, so I jumped. No loyalty, just money for me now.

I must have been drinking RFC I actually agree with every word you say, to add to it I hope the lad does well and goes onto even bigger things.

In the interest of keeping things consistent between our posts, I demand you tell me where this surprise is we were going to see during the JR.

They have been selling him months ago, now they need the money to pay the legal fees.

A question if I may, do you see the money being reinvested into the squad?

Not a fact. I enjoy my job most of the time. I wouldn't risk moving jobs for more money if I could get it. Being happy with your job is worth a lot to many people. And my eldest has just been offered a pay rise of 11k to move jobs. Her present employers know they won't be able to replace her easily. They have told her to name her price and have also offered to enlarge her team by two to take pressure off her.

If he is happy with the situation he should stay. If he isn't he should leave.

Three people working the fries is a bit excessive isn't it? ;)

Not just about being happy unfortunately, influenced by agents and family situations. Football's different to normal life and jobs and despite some young players loyalty money frequently talks.

So he is only going because he is unhappy? This is football we are talking about.

Not sure how much a sh*te stirrer gets paid, but I'd be willing to treble your wages on a pay as you go basis - fancy cliff diving in Acapulco? ;)

If they are going to reinvest the money there must be some players in the Scottish 2nd division waiting by the phone for their big move. 3 million is a lot of money for an normal club to reinvest in this league sadly we are no longer a normal club.

Hahaha thank you RFC for a moment I thought it wasn't you, RFC surely even can't ignore the facts of a HIGH COURT JUDGE.

Do us all a favour and have another read of the report, two judges have now told SISU they are wrong and still you continue to listen to ML and TF lies wake up and smell the coffee fella

Might be wrong but didn't someone say on this forum today that if the appeal is granted then no new evidence can be submitted, it is just about how the law in the first one was misunderstood.

Think it was in the CET report saying it is unlikely that any new evidence will be allowed.

So if this is the case what can you possibly be on about or are you just spouting stuff that you cannot back up like you have before on many occasion.

So he is leaving because he is happy at our club?

He's leaving for loads more money(if he goes), and wouldn't blame him.

Anybody who is still at the club you will consider to be enormously happy then?

Could you start a thread?

Maybe?

Coventry players love it at Northampton!

Absolute no brainer of a decision for both him and the club if the price tag is £3M plus. Even if SP gets a third of that to reinvest in players then that should be enough to get a couple of quality players in.
