Yes one of the breaks is 3 weeks long but we don't have 3 breaks before xmasIs it next year that international breaks are going to be just one large break of a couple of weeks or so?

are they getting a week off?Ive been glad of all 3 International breaks tbh
With a small squad we need them to recharge
That’s the spirit 🩵
If the EPL/EFL is looking at this season as an example of what no parachute payments would look like every season this would be that season. It’s been fantastic, brilliant not only us being the team to beat but look at the teams around the top half and playoffs knowing they have an opportunity for promotion. Parachute payments should be severely limited to non playing staff, behind the scenes employees who would be without income otherwise at least for a couple of seasons.
The next run of games doesnt have a break. its pretty relentless until if and when we are no longer in the FA Cup. Buckle up, the squad is going to be tested
Without parachute payments promoted teams would either have to take massive gambles on staying up or be completely unable to attract higher calibre players. Teams wouldn't be able to offer competitive multi year contracts without them.If the EPL/EFL is looking at this season as an example of what no parachute payments would look like every season this would be that season. Don't disagree about "toughest run" but such is our form at the moment (great) in the last six games Ipswich have dropped 5 points behind us and Southampton are showing relegation form being a further 3 points back.West Brom - W
Middlesboro - D
Charlton - W
Ipswich - L
Preston - D
Bristol City - W
Southampton - L
W3 D2 L2
Ipswich and Southampton now getting their shit together and we never ever win at Deepdale
Toughest run of the season for me, 11 points but will be enough to keep us top, and still at over 2 points a game.
I look at that gap too.Tbh Im just concentrating on the gap between us and 6th because If for some reason we don't make top 2 there isn't a team we wouldn't beat in the playoffs.
Beat Ipswich then league is sewn up 100%.
Your pessimism and trolling is boring now.
You calling me boring as bait is boringYour pessimism and trolling is boring now.
Irony alert…..About as likely as a duff bottle of Hirondelle
Decent argument to play weakened team depending on the drawThe next run of games doesnt have a break. its pretty relentless until if and when we are no longer in the FA Cup. Buckle up, the squad is going to be tested
we will only miss the play offs if we get 38 points or less from the remaining 31 games - thats a 56 point season, and is what we got in our 1st season back in the championship with Biamou, shipley etcTbh Im just concentrating on the gap between us and 6th because If for some reason we don't make top 2 there isn't a team we wouldn't beat in the playoffs.
it really is a season to bin the FA cup - really dont need to take the riskDecent argument to play weakened team depending on the draw
And when Tyler Walker was our top scorer. If we end up doing that or worse after the start we've had I'm officially giving up on football.we will only miss the play offs if we get 38 points or less from the remaining 31 games - thats a 56 point season, and is what we got in our 1st season back in the championship with Biamou, shipley etc
Absolutely, the FA Cup is a distraction we don't need this season. Every league game counts more than ever now since we came back to the Championshipit really is a season to bin the FA cup - really dont need to take the risk
No idea what this is.....but we aren't top!!

our expected stats have dipped quite sharply, I posted a graph the other day.
Since Sheff Weds we've only averaged around +0.2 xGD per game, previously it was over 1.
Our best attacking player is outOur early season form wasn't sustainable.
It was comparable with once a decade performances from the likes of Bolton, Man City and Fulham
We're doing fine.
And who else looks like putting a great run together? I can't see anyone personally.
"Frank lampard will be a disaster mark my words"I am only an optimist, and love the City an to see us win.
Spot on,is there a better team than us in the league ( possibly Ipswich starting to come good ) are there 2 better teams, def not, that gap to 3rd is getting bigger, that’s all we need to worry aboutOur early season form wasn't sustainable.
