If ever there was a statement that underlines my long time held belief (and many others) about the nature of the excercise this is it:

“Joy’s door is open to Ann for further discussions. But we would have to be clear this time that it would be a discussion about stadium ownership.”“In the absence of a clear commitment to discuss ownership, we are pressing ahead with the plans for our new stadium on the outskirts of Coventry.”

Even Les Reid can't get any confirmation of actual progress on this front from SISU. They have no land.. until they buy land and apply for planning permission to build a stadium this statement means diddly squat.

The plan was presented as an alternative to Sisu/Otium playing Coventry City’s ‘home’ matches at Northampton for three to five years, while building a new stadium in Warwickshire.

That's pretty cut and dried. They won't even come back while building a new stadium. Pathetic and indefensible.

The FL should take the share off them.

I have started a thread based on organising a complete boycott of the oldham game. Would be a good start to get everyone to boycott 1 game.

Would you like the fl to do this if it meant the end of CCfc?

Good call but then in "shameful and indefensible" terms those bastards take the biscuit

So apparently we wouldn't get any revenues and match day costs we should be paying as we are using things police and power etc.

It sounds from the cet article that it was an idea floated also so would they have discussed terms

It would save them £10-£12M. lost revenues that are getting loaded into our club which could pay for half of the New Stadium ,So £37M. loaded=£12.5M. loaded
