I am all for FFP but if an owner wants to give a club money without increasing its debt then it should be allowed. High value long term deals offered to 2 injury prone players knowing that FFP was around the corner, only SISU would do this.

99% of owners don't just give money to their clubs though do they? They loan it - look at Leicester £15m a year losses, etc they have built up £75m debt in 3 years, king power haven't given them money.

Look at the list of clubs that have gone into admin, spending above your means is bad, and encourages others to do it to try and compete. We're not in the PL, Bill Gates isn't our owner, and if anything we should be learning from our mistakes and not over spending on transfers and wages. Swansea have managed to do it.

They were able to sign players players and only went into an embargo for failure to meet ffp when the compensation levels for Collins and another player were set by the tribunal. They were only in it for a short time and sold Ritchie to bournemouth for £400k which meant the embargo was lifted.

For me, the problem under SISU has never been under-investment, other than the relegation season, which was farcical. In fact, you'd probably say Mark Robins was the most well-backed manager in our recent history. The problem has generally been bad investment. Even now we've got players sitting on fat contracts that their ability in no way justifies.

Yeovil showed last year that you don't have to spend more than the other teams at this level to succeed, you just need to spend what you can afford shrewdly.

Portsmouth were allowed the signing of loanees and players on month long contracts because the FL thought that teams caning Pompey U-18's 6-0 every week wasn't in the spirit of the "beautiful game".
Hopefully they may look at our "Sky Blue babes" in the same light and cut us a bit of slack, or better still tell Opium to f**k right off!!

Only 2 of them are likely to be on that much. Three definitely will not be. Players are moved on a the time and this is no different. Interestingly when the popular sisu puppet thorn did to Eastwood it was a sign of strong management. This is apparently weak and misguided.

Mcsheffrey and bell are often ridiculed and lampooned on here so no one should be surprised. Malaga was exiled last season and Jennings has been poor. Dunne needs a new club anyway. I may have kept the other one (edjuingele)

These players know the score. Their agents will be trying to secure contracts elsewhere and if we can get rid of at least 4 the excercise will have been worth it. Season long loans elsewhere are also an option.

When fit Bell is probably our best player, as he showed at the end of last season.

I suppose they have to save money somewhere though.
