I was at the game he scored in, Blackpool away. It was a weird goal, almost seemed accidental.

We lost 2-1 conceding twice in the last few minutes. Relegation seasons are dismal.

But that was the late equaliser at Molineaux back in League 1. It was a cracking goal, and as anyone of a certain age knows, Wolves are the real enemy, so it was a goal that had me jumping up and down! Particularly sweet as some Wolves arsehole had run down the touchline giving us the v sign when they scored!
It was a bit ropey trying to get back to the station after that game. Little pockets of trouble went off all over the place.
Was a strange game that. Wolves fans seemed to think because they were 10 points above us in the league it was gonna be a walk in the park, not taking in to account we started the season 10 points behind them and were actually level with them in terms of points gained that season.

Cracking away day that one, great goal from Aaron Phillips as well, from where we were as soon as he hit it we knew it was in.

Yes that was a great night, I remember being in the Sky Blue Stand upper tier for it, great view of it looping in. Also you could see Mick Quinn's penalty landing on Swan Lane!

Didn't he only play 3 games or something? Looked really good as well, huge centre forward which we'd been crying out for since John Hartson. Then he got caught with kilo of coke in his boot didn't he?
He played twice for us. Rumours that he fell out with the club before he ever played for us - reporting back late after international duty.

He scored on his debut at Crewe. Crazy game, we looked pretty good in first half - Lowe had come pretty close with a free kick that struck the woodwork and it seemed like a matter of time before we put them to bed. Crewe scored after about 15 seconds of the restart - and we folded. Lowe scored a header when we were 2-0 but we were already out of it. Dean Ashton scored a penalty for them as they won 3-1.

Shortly after he was arrested on drug charges and released at the end of the season.

Steven Pressley, Leigh Jenkinson, Peter Billing, Ray Woods, Tony Dobson, Howard Clark, and Marc Edworthy.

Marc grew up in the same town as me. I was a couple of years older, but I knew him through a friend. I remember how highly he always spoke of Richard Shaw. How we paid over £1m for Marc is a mystery, to be honest.

Thought of a few more (internationals)… Jordan Henderson, Yasin Ayari, Carlton Palmer, Robert Page, and Richard Keogh.

That’s brought back a few memories…I think Pressley scored in a 3-2 loss at home to Man Utd.
I remember Dobson scoring a goal in a 3-1 friendly against(I think) Banik Ostrava but can’t recall his league goal.
Again I could be wrong but recall Billing scoring a screamer in a 3-0 win at Sheff Utd and Howard Clark scored the equaliser in a 2-2 home draw against Forest.
I thought Ray Woods scored more than the king of step overs Leigh Jenkinson 😂
